Lo Svevo Birra e Cucina is a culinary experience that's truly unforgettable. From the moment you step in and notice the welcoming, modern decor, you can tell there's an attention to detail that permeates every aspect of the place. The selection of craft beers is simply superb, a genuine paradise for beer lovers, with options ranging from classic flavors to bold and innovative ones. The restaurant is also located on an Instagrammable street, adding to the overall charm. However, it's the food that truly steals the show. Each dish is an explosion of flavors, with fresh, high-quality ingredients that combine harmoniously. I particularly appreciated the chef's creativity, who manages to revisit local culinary classics with a touch of originality without ever betraying their essence. The service is impeccable; the staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to offer advice and cater to every need. The atmosphere is relaxed and convivial, perfect for an evening with friends or a romantic dinner. In summary, Lo Svevo Birra e Cucina excels in every aspect, from the quality of the food to the beer selection, from the service to the atmosphere. It's a gastronomic experience that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Bari and looking to savor the best of local cuisine in a modern and welcoming...
Read moreArrived in Bari on the ferry. Finding my hostel n checking in turned out to be the most challenging thing in 4 weeks of travel from Athens through Albania, Montenegro and Croatia. It was shitty to be honest. By the time I found this place, it was simply a case of does it offer a cold beer n a dinner under 20 euros. Lo Svevo turned out to be the reward Bari had saved for me, a balm to a very rough welcome. I thought my dinner of the Apulian sausages with potatoes n salad worthy of mention n so was the house red. To understand my high rating of the atmosphere, u just have to come here. Sorry, I just can't describe it. Finally, DONOT leave here until u try their cheese cake in a jar....
Read moreWe visited Lo Svevo outside of the normal opening hours, when the owners opened the bar for the football world cup finale, so we didn't have the chance to try their food, but spent there some nice time anyway We tried all the beers and they were pretty OK. The selection was a bit of an issue, as there were only 4 or 5 beers on tap, and there were not bottled beers to choose from after having tried all that was on tap. We like to try different beers when we visit a multi-tap, so it was a shame for us, as we would gladly spend more time there. The atmosphere was homely, the owners were very friendly, and we would probably like to go there again to...
