The worst experience I have ever had at a McDonald’s. We ordered our food at 12:33 and ended up receiving it at around 13:15. Acquaintances standing in line in front of us were also waiting endlessly, but when they asked about their order they were simply told to “wait, we will call the orders.” Only after asking a second time, they got the explanation that the fryer was broken, so the Filet-O-Fish could not be served. This was not communicated to me, I just happened to overhear it. Our acquaintances ended up ordering a different burger, which also took an extremely long time and should have been prioritized instead. When I went up to the counter to either get a different burger or my money back, the manager told me they would have Filet-O-Fish again “in five minutes”. I guess those were Italian five minutes, because the wait was much longer than that. Finally, when my mom started making a scene with one of the employees, the order was suddenly ready. Naturally, the fries ended up being cold, and there was a hair in my fries.
It was not the employees’ fault that the fryer broke, and I know you shouldn’t expect much from a fast food place, but the service was simply abysmal. If I hadn’t overheard our acquaintances, I wouldn’t have known what was wrong. If I hadn’t gone to the counter myself and if my mom hadn’t made a scene, we probably would have never received our food. Our acquaintances and I were waiting in front of the counter the entire time, and none of the employees batted an eye at us. It wasn’t super busy either, so there was really no excuse for ignoring us like that. There was no communication, no “please take a seat and we will let you know as soon as your order is ready”, no extras or apology to make up for the long wait and poor service.
I have worked minimum wage jobs myself, but even when your paycheck is low and the food you serve is cheap and easy, there still has to be some kind of customer service going on. You’re not making your workplace’s reputation or even your own workday better by treating paying...
Read moreMany customers have expressed frustration with their experiences at the McDonald's on Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Bari. A common complaint is the consistently slow service, with long wait times even during off-peak hours. Customers often report waiting much longer than expected for their orders, which can be particularly frustrating at a fast-food restaurant.
Another frequent issue is the accuracy of orders. Several reviews mention receiving incomplete or incorrect meals, with missing items or wrong combinations. This lack of attention to detail adds to the dissatisfaction, especially when the staff seems indifferent or unresponsive to correcting mistakes.
The cleanliness of the restaurant has also been criticized, with some visitors commenting on dirty tables and a lack of maintenance in the dining area. The condition of the bathrooms is often mentioned as subpar, further contributing to the negative perception of the location.
Many customers feel that the overall service is unprofessional, with unfriendly staff and poor communication. Despite its convenient central location, these recurring problems have left a lasting negative impression on visitors, making it one of the more poorly rated McDonald's branches...
Read moreThere is general chaos. I was waiting about 25 minutes for meal. It wasnt anything fancy. On the board it said my meal was ready like afte lr 3 minutes but it wasnt coming. Then it dissapeared from the board. I asked them where is my meal because it dissapeared and manager pointed out on it and said "dont see, dont see". So she meant to not look at it because it doesnt give any information.
I received my plate without tortilla and they asked me if I want to wait or they Will deliver rest to the table. Seeing how chaotic it all is, I decided to wait another few minutes.
I had a feeling they were building plates for clients and then whenever they wanted to complete another one, they were Just taking stuff from other plates, instead of making food.
Service was nice I think but lack of basic English. I think Macdonald employees should talk basic...
