This restaurant is a hidden jewel ❤️ We were warmly welcomed. The waiter was super friendly and spoke really good English (something you don’t quite find in italy - at least we encountered this problem often) Tipical italian food : you have 3 options for each course and all of them are delicious!! The Menu depends on season (summer/winter). Prices are really affordable - we paid 42€ for 2 persons with 2 courses, dessert, wine, water and shots at the end . 👌🏼👌🏼 Our order: risotto with zucchini and seafood / pasta with pomodoro and ricotta grilled octopus / horse meat fruit tarts peanut shots ( which tastes a bit like Jägermeister with peanut flavor) all accompanied with white wine 😊 So if you are visiting Bari it’s definitely a must 👍🏼👍🏼

A pleasant and enjoyable experience overall. This is a classic, no-frills osteria — nothing particularly unusual or inventive, but everything was well-prepared and tasty. We had a mixed fried seafood platter and some wine. The food was fresh and flavorful, though the portions were slightly smaller compared to other places we've been to. A good, solid choice if you're looking for a traditional osteria meal in a relaxed setting.

I don't usually write reviews, but this restaurant deserved a bad one. We were 4 french girls and were welcomed by an expedient and rough boss. He listed the dishes very fastly and didn't want to repeat (I was the only one able to speak italian and I needed to translate to my friends). He almost forced us to take the full menu, but we hardly negociate to take "only" two dishes. Pasta was a shame, they probably just opened the can of tomatoe paste and poured it. The service was slow, and not a single smile from the waiters. The worst: we heard our neighbours from the table aside (Belgians, not familiar with italian language) were enforced to take antipasti without even ordering them! What strikes me most is that this restaurant was recommended by a local .. I reckon they change products depending if your a tourist or a local. I've read other reviews: seems we were not the ones to receive such a bad treatment ! I often come to Italy, and this bad experience was my first one ! Hope the...

Waiter/owner refused to serve us what we asked for. We wanted 2 starters and 1 main to share. He brought us 3 other antipasti we didn’t order. I kindly declined and asked for only what we ordered. We were told that it was not possible. We left right after.

There’s a set menu on the wall, showing a multi-course meal worth 25 euros, showing the individual prices per course. Nothing is written as to what the dishes are though. Waiter/owner seems to pressure guests into accepting dishes they didn’t order. He understood me in English up until the point I asked him to take back the antipasti we didn’t order.

After reading the reviews of other guests, I can vouch for the fact that service is friendly if you’re non confrontational and would not be inclined to reject additional food put on your table by the host. If reading this review gives you an itch, I...

The food is not bad but pay attention to what you're ordering and what they charge you for. They waiter is very tricky and brings you food you don't order and you belive it's something from the house (being a local place). We only wanted some fritto misto and in the end the waiter charged us for another plate we didn't order in the beginning. There is no menu so it's hard to understand what they serve...and that's how they take advantage of the people. Other clients were charged for desert (some strawberries in a plastic cup- it looked more like something extra and 100% they didn't order it - saw their face when the waiter was explaining them the check ( that comes on a small calculator in front of you, nothing explicit). I wouldn't go there another time for sure. Too bad the food is fresh and good but the way they treat their clients is...
