La Taverna Verde is a cozy family restaurant near the sea walk in Bari. The rosé we ordered, called “Five Roses,” was truly excellent — refreshing and delicious! We ordered a series of appetizers, including mussels in a white wine sauce, eggplant parmigiana, fried mozzarella bites, and grilled octopus. Everything was tasty! We stayed a week in Bari and visited here twice. Mostly pizzas but other choices are available. Enjoyed watching our pizzas being cooked and found an excellent wine that was very reasonably priced. Food rating is 4.5 really. Waiter though having limited English stayed with us while we made our food choices and was really helpful.
