The service from all the waiters and back waiters was superb! Excellent wine list but unfortunately it all stops there. The food was terrible and not edible. The tajarin pasta with funghi was in a brodo of butter. I returned the dish to the kitchen and the owner Patrizia refused to take it off the bill, or even acknowledge me or make another plate. She then proceeded to interrupt me and just gave me the bill and asked for my credit card ( after paying more than 138 euro for lunch! The carne cruda was of low quality because it contained many tendons and inferior cut of meat. Also the risotto had way too much butter as well but the parmigiano hid this well. A simple apology from the owner or a lesson in hospitality might...

Really great food here. We stumbled upon this place looking for a restaurant for lunch near the Marchesi di Barolo winery. It was white truffle season so we got that for lunch. Their prices were less expensive than the restaurant where we had dinner at in Alba. The taglioni dish with white truffle was absolutely delicious! Everyone was happy with their food. The complimentary breads and mountain butter were so good! We are used to having butter with our bread so we miss it being in Italy. This butter was creamy and melted right into the bread. We didn't have reservations. They were able to seat us. Waiter was very nice. Everyone working...

Really good local Piemontese food , in a nice location in the centre of Barolo town . I would totally recommend Vitello Tonnato , Carne Cruda , Agnolotti del Plin , Risoto con vino rosso e gorgonzola . Very special desserts , combining traditional with modern . I would recommend the special Tiramisu . You can choose among a big selection of wines , we took local Barolo wine and jt was really good . The prices are high , but totally ok with the quantity and quality of food . You probably need make a reservation a least 2-3 days before .
