Al Sultan — Restaurant in Bergamo

Al Sultan is the perfect spot for Palestinian cuisine. They offer a small but tasty menu, dishes which include meat and a few vegetarian ones. It's a tiny place right in the centre of lower town Bergamo in one of the busiest squares of the area. Compared to many Kebab eateries I've been to, so far it's the best one! They have a sit out space as well as a small indoor area. The meat's quality is very good, food has a fresh feel to it. I tried their black tea infused with sage leaves...never tasted it before and was a real after meal treat! The prices are really fair for the quantity/quality of the food, and their classic kebab panino costs just the same as everywhere else (3,50€). Very disappointing food, I saw the good reviews and they made me chose the restaurant, but the soup was smelling strange, when I tasted it it was sour and like has been cooked a week ago. The owner dropped one of the plastic cup he gave me for the water, said sorry and didn’t bring other. The hygiene was missing and he was coughing...
