Biif — Restaurant in Bergamo

We ordered 2 bruschetta as starters to share between 4. Ordered 3 alcoholic drinks 1 water and 4 pizzas. 3 drinks arrived except the bottled water. A reminder was offered and the water duly arrived. Starters then arrived in fair time. 20mins after we finished the starter plates were taken away. 1hour later we still hadn't got main courses. After asking where it was, we were told we had to wait as we had had bruschetta and they served everyone in order and we had to wait so people who weren't having starters got their mains meals but even some who had starters still got their main courses before us.After a further 10mins the pizzas arrived.........burnt and soggy in the middle not very appetising all 4 of us ate a bit and left the rest. We asked for the bill. Bill arrived was nearly 100 euros.we were charged for bread we hadn't had. No one smiled or were polite couldn't wait to leave fast enough. Absolutely disgusting food and service and robbed for the privelage. Not what we were expecting for our final meal of an otherwise fantastic trip! We have eaten in many restaurants during our stay with excellent food...

Avoid if you want to be treated with some respect!!! We ate in here late one Saturday evening, immediately it was apparent that the locals come first!!!

We ordered drinks and food which arrived quite swiftly. However, for a pizzeria, they served me a pizza which was clearly undercooked, the crust was still like dough, and when we complained were advised that thats the way it is.... It certainly did not look like it with the pizzas being served on the next table!!!

Compensated with 2 glasses of LemonCello, but sadly neither my partner or I drink.

It was not a cheap meal, and were made to feel we were an inconvenience!!!

After a week of travelling around Italy and eating at multiple places, this was a complete let down!!!!! ...

Absolutely terrible experience. I came to restaurant and it seemed preety decent. When I was seated, I asked waiter for wine pairing with my dishes. He instantly suggested most expensive wine which definetly didnt complement with local pasta (Bergamesca). I asked for water and he told me that he cant give me tap water, only bottled. I said that I buy two glasses of wine and starter with main course but he insisted. Then they brough me pizza, mamma mia... Completly raw, I complained and they said they will make new one. Tried to call waiter two times but he was busy smoking outside with his colleague. Planned to buy dessert but I realised there is better places to spend my...
