Bar Atlantic — Restaurant in Bologna

staff under pressure I think because they don't even look at you, or they look at you with a blank face😶..so unpolite.anyway...so today after going to poste Italiano I decided to eat breakfast at Atlantic bar . I ordered a cup of Cappuccino and a brioche..cappucino was cold, brioche was tasty...I humbly asked for a small cup of water and she told me the bartender (girl) " we give water only to those who order coffee, what? Ok I understand because she said it's the rule...but when I went to look for a seat, everybody who ordered Cappuccino had a cup of water.😅..well it's not really a big deal for just a sip of water but the feeling after seeing others with a cup of water. Servizio imbarazzante. Io e la mia compagna eravamo a fare la spesa e abbiamo deciso di fermarci al bar a prendere una cosa al volo da mangiare mentre andavamo via. Erano le 17:30 circa di lunedì, un tecnico riparava la macchina del caffè e una barista era dietro al bancone a pulire le tazzine. Ci siamo avvicinati in cassa per ordinare un pezzo di focaccia, e la ragazza è rimasta lì a pulire nonostante si sia girata un paio di volte verso la cassa. Ad un certo punto il tecnico (che stava proprio davanti a noi) la chiama per farle vedere qualcosa alla macchina del caffè. La ragazza ora si trova proprio col viso rivolto verso di noi, ascolta quello che il tecnico ha da dirle, dopodiché mi guarda negli occhi per un secondo e se ne va a pulire nuovamente. A quel punto, ho capito che probabilmente non c'era la volontà di servirci e abbiamo deciso di andarcene (e ci è convenuto dato che la stessa focaccia l'abbiamo pagata meno nel supermercato proprio di fronte). Non comprendo le dinamiche in questo bar, i prodotti sono anche buoni ma il servizio che viene riservato fa venir voglia di andare...

I went there a few times during my stay in Bologna - friendly atmosphere and the staff was ok, especially with the elders. They even replaced the their coffees for free after they knocked them out of the cup. With a smile included. For the food..not much for the eyes..I ate a Panzerotte which was ok. Give them another chance. A great...
