Caffetteria Galliera — Restaurant in Bologna

I had about an hour and a half before my train and was looking for a spot to relax, read a little, chat with a friend, and grab a quick bite. Cafeteria Galliera was perfect for that. It’s close to Bologna Centrale, which makes it super convenient for a pre-train stop.

I ordered a cappuccino and a prosciutto sandwich, along with a pastry (not pictured), and everything was fresh and satisfying. The prices were amazing—especially by Canadian standards. It felt like such good value for what I got. The staff were friendly, and the service was fast, which I really appreciated with limited time.

I sat at one of the outdoor tables, which were shaded and caught a nice breeze—perfect for unwinding without the heat getting in the way. Overall, it was a great little café experience. I’d definitely come back if I’m ever passing through...

Very reliable café across the street from our accommodation. The fresh squeezed orange juice was amazing -especially as the juice selection in most supermarkets is dire. My cousin enjoyed her cappuccino and the food was pretty good-we didn't try a lot, though. The staff is wonderful and speak English well. They have offered to call a taxi for me when I leave today, as it doesn't always go well when you don't...
