Bottega Portici Lab - Indipendenza — Restaurant in Bologna

We had a very sad experience. We came at the restaurant on sunday 4.10.2020 at 20:20 and the door was locked. The waiter working there said it was closed, although they have written on the door they were open all days from 8 am till 9 pm. For a restaurant like that it is unacceptable and inadmissible and you do not feel welcome ever again. We were on our half way to home (still 4 hours to get there) but we really want to stop there to eat good pasta (a friend of mine said it was the best) even though it was very late for us. Now i really doubt about that they have the best pasta and the best bolognese sauce!! I will think ten times if I will come here again!! Very bad experience and sad at the same time. They do not deserve...

Sabato 22, con degli amici ci siamo ritrovati a Bologna e abbiamo pranzato, i tortellini al ragù erano squisiti nulla da dire, ma per quanto riguarda il vino che avevamo ordinato è stata una cosa penosa, solitamente quando si va al ristorante la prima cosa che fanno è portare il vino e l'acqua, a noi invece il vino proprio non arrivava, sono arrivati tortellini, che una volta pronti li ritiri direttamente dalla cucina, e dopo qualche minuto abbiamo chiesto il vino che abbiamo ordinato, ma prima ci dicono che lo portano loro al tavolo, poi siccome ancora non arrivava ci dicono che sono andati in cantina a cercare una bottiglia, fra l'altro abbiamo scelto un comunissimo merlot, mica uno chateau briand del 57...finalmente quando oramai avevamo quasi finito di mangiare i tortellini, arriva al tavolo una cameriera con una bottiglia e ci dice che non è il vino che abbiamo ordinato, quello è terminato, è uno più costoso e dobbiamo pagare la differenza, non è per i 6 euro di differenza ci mancherebbe, è una questione di principio, rimostriamo alla 'povera' cameriera che dopo più di mezz'ora che siamo li è quasi al termine del pranzo ci porta una bottiglia che non è quella ordinata e in più ci chiede la differenza, chiediamo di parlare con un superiore, lei entra nel locale e poco dopo ritorna con una bottiglia forse da mezzo litro e ci dice che quella costa come quella che avevamo ordinato... Nuova rimostranza nostra e nuova richiesta di far venire il superiore, la ragazza se ne va con la bottiglietta e ritorna con la prima e ci dice che la offre lei... Ovviamente non l'avevano con la cameriera che non ne ha colpa, ma con la dirigenza che non ha saputo organizzarsi con quanto presente a listino rispetto a quanto...

I was pretty much satisfied with the service and quality of food but one situation rubbed me the wrong way. The restaurant was half empty yet one of the managers told me I should not sit at a table of 5. Mind you the tables for 2 were taken when I arrived. Not that it should matter. The point is, the table I was asked to move from remained empty for the remainder of my meal. I eat alone at restaurants all over the world yet I have never been treated this poorly.Nevertheless my meal wasn't as tasty as it probably was since the situation left a bad taste...
