Hello, I have to say I was quite disappointed with my visit here today. But first, let’s start with the positive feedback: the food was really good, I had the Tuna Spaghetti and my companion had the Veggie Burger. We were happy with our order and cleaned our plates. But the service was a disaster, there wasn’t enough staff and although the waiter wasn’t unfriendly he was definitely overwhelmed. Forgetting our water, bread and drinks were one of many signs. We were waiting for a long time to get our drinks, while new Italian local customers were served immediately with drinks and bread. By the way, the bread never even arrived. The „boss“, I‘m not sure if he even was the boss because he was extremely unprofessional. He was unnecessarily rude and had an overall negative attitude. This made me especially angry because we were the only ones faced with this energy. The other costumers were served quickly and were talked to. I know I‘m a tourist but getting the impression that I‘m less appreciated made me feel disappointed and that’s why I‘m writing this review. I also work in the gastronomical field and know how stressful it can be but the customer is always first and the king of the house. I hope you take this criticism seriously and change your approach to customers and...
Read moreFood was really good, but that’s all of the positive. We had a table of 6, dinner and drinks, on a saturday night. The service is really bad and slow, the first waiter did not place our drinks order and 15 minutes later his coleague tried to convince us it was our fault, and tried to correct our english (fyi hers wasnt that good either). The beef tagliata was described in the menu having maldon salt flakes but was almost completely lacking them. When we asked for extra salt the waitress was really rude saying they dont provide that kind of salt, and only after showing her the menu she (10 minutes later), brought about a quater of a tablespoon. In the end, they ended up charging us 25€ extra for a different bottle of wine that the one we had (they previously told us that they dont have the wine we first wanted in stock and brought us a cheaper one, but failed to change it on the bill). When we told her about that she was really rude and told us that both bottles had the same price, and only after repeteadly asking she checked and came back with the difference (they had in fact, different prices). Overall, even though the food is good, i would not...
Read moreEasily the worst food we've eaten in Bologna. They have a menu at the front of the restaurant with specials but when shown to the table the waiter says "that menu is not the best" hands me another menu, much more expensive but with one page that has pasta dishes for €8. We chose the lasagne Bolognese. The portion was slapped together, small and microwaved. Also had salmon tartare at €15. Salmon felt like it had been defrosted and I'm not too sure what the "cheese" on top was. I've eaten in dozens and dozens of Italian restaurants and this was not only bad food but the service was ordinary to say the least. Upon paying they charged us too much and then gave some bullshit story about the cash point not being updated for the "summer" menu. It's the last week in August, just when do you think the summer menu might get to the register? I think they rely on most tourists not checking the bill or not willing to argue over €4 or €5. Add the €3.50 cover charge and its just not worth it. Head out of this street and around the corner, to...
