This is a tastefully decorated, cozy place in the historic part of Bologna where you can get lost tasting a large variety of wines, spirits and beer. The staff is very knowledgable about their products and are easily approachable, ready to educate you about their bottles. Also, the music is carefully chosen so that the whole experience remains with you long after you leave the place. On a side note, I discovered something that is very valuable to me - they have a dishwasher that can wash wine glasses while not breaking them. This is something I will acquire soon! We stumbled across this place as we were killing time before our bus, we arrived just as it was opening and the owner was really welcoming and friendly even though I am sure it was annoying we have just turned up !!! The wine choices were excellent and we were recommended a white wine from the local hills of bologna, it was so good we had 3 glasses each ! The food was a simple yet delicious menu which was perfect for lunch for us. Highly recommend going out of your way to visit here for lunch or a glass of wine and a light snack...

Oustanding wine selection! Beside Italian wines you'll find a huge variety of excellent French wines. Typical and tasty Italian Osteria food. Not cooked at the place but reheated. Generally the food was very good (with some exceptions). Very friendly and helpful staff. On weekends the place is very crowded, I would even say overcrowded. Too many people in a tiny place.
