La Bella Napoli — Restaurant in Bologna

First I would like to say this is not my first experience with Bella Napoli. I am a local but have always either taken pizza out or eaten it in the restaurant. Let me say that although their pizza is smaller than average it is quite delicious and I have no problems with that. However, on my last visit to the restaurant with friends, we had a rather disappointing experience. This time instead of opting for pizza, all three of us chose a fish dish priced respectively at 14, 15 and 16 Euro each. We then had a sweet each at 5 Euro a head. A bottle of mineral water 2.50 Euro and 1/2 a liter of HOUSE wine. Cover charge 2.50 a piece. Quality of the food: sufficient - nothing to write home but the serving size was a little more than a mere taste. The sweet consisting of a small chocolate cake drier than the Sahara! Mind you one could close an eye on all that BUT not on what followed! How much is the bill - 80€. How much is that divided by 3? 27 €. Stayed in one of their appartments. Went for dinner in the restaurant. Had to ask for the discount they advertise with, even though I spoke to them an hour before. I thought it would be nice to eat in their restaurant as their guest. But the owner didn't show any appreciation. Some were very friendly, others not. The pizza-deliverers were checking me out while I was paying. And they made some sexual comments, thinking I wouldn't understand. 'The fat ones are noisy in bed'. I felt sad the rest of the night. I was just bodyshamed by the staff of a restaurant. (the guy with the tongue piercing and the other one). The pizza was good. Lock didn't work so had to go back to the restaurant. Luckily it happened when the restaurant was still open! Very noisy place. Smoke comes from my smoking neighbour right in my room. I can hear every conversation he is having. And his TV shows. Poor place. Bed is ok and clean sheets and towels. I would definitely not recommend this place. Just don't even bother. It's not very cheap either. The good thing is you get a map of the area. Disappointment. Upon arrival, the waiter separated us into a separate part of the restaurant so that we would not sit with the rest of the clientele, I don't know why, when there were certainly enough empty seats. That alone made us feel bad because it makes a difference, maybe because we are brown and from a foreign country. The food was good, just good, but the service was 0. After a few minutes of our arrival, the waiter said that the restaurant was closed and that we could finish our meal and go outside, and he rudely waved us away. If he already knew the restaurant was closing, he didn't have to let us in. Silence, no music, atmosphere 0. He didn't come to check if we needed anything else.
