Aires Del Plata — Restaurant in Bologna

A low-profile restaurant that everyone should definitely visit. My girlfriend and I were looking for a steakhouse after 2 weeks of pasta experience in Italy, and this restaurant fulfilled our wishes way beyond what we expected.

The steak is authentic as in the Argentinian style: very juicy, tender and grilled with charcoal. Undoubtedly it is one of the best steaks we’ve ever had. The price is also very affordable for its quantity, with grilled vegetables and baked potatoes included.

The service was also amazing. We felt welcomed in this restaurant with love and passion.

It's a pity to have not many customers when we were there. They deserve more attention...

Abbiamo ordinato in due due empanadas, degustazione di carne da 2/3 persone (era da 2) con “verdure” incluse, due dolci e una boccia di vino da 20€: risultato 115,5€. A mio parere ho speso troppo per quello che ho mangiato. Cinque tagli diversi di carne con cottura perfetta (di cui un paio buonissimi), negli altri tre invece c’era, per i miei gusti, troppo grasso (mi aspettavo, date le recensioni entusiastiche, una qualità più alta della carne). Vergognoso che le verdure grigliate fossero LETTERALMENTE una fetta di melanzana e una fetta di zucchina tagliata per il lungo a testa… vero che le patate al forno erano saporite e molto buone, ma la sensazione è quella della presa in giro (se nel menu è scritto che quel piatto potrebbe essere per 3 persone, dovremmo spartirci in tre un totale di quattro striminzite fettine di verdura??). Empanadas nulla di imperdibile, molto buono invece il dulce de leche che accompagnava i dessert. Siamo stati un po’ intimoriti dalle altre recensioni che valutano l’esperienza in modo eccelso perché, avendo prenotato dopo averle lette, eravamo partiti con aspettative altissime che poi non sono state confermate nella cena. Per quanto ho speso non ci tornerei e non lo consiglierei nemmeno, ma l’esperienza non è stata così negativa da abbassare di più la loro altissima media.
