A small pub + Pizzeria. They are not a restaurant, but more of a casual pub style dining.
But their pizza is the real deal! Compared to other pizzeria or restaurant pizzas, they know their pizza. The pizza dough is 100% self made and has a nice chewy texture.
Now pizza selection they have quite a variety and menu is not in english, But the waitress kindly explained to us the variety in english.
Ordered: -Ferragosto -Red Hot
Ferragosto is a pomodore based pizza topped with fresh basil, pork sausage and fresh buffala mozzarella cheese. Flavor is on point and well balanced.
Red Hot is a simple pomodore based pizza topped with spicy salami and mozzarella cheese. It may sound simple but had a nice spice and savory flavor from the salami and the mozzarella literally melted in the mouth.
Only con imo is that the crust is really thick and for those who don't like the edge, you might find the crust a bit too much, plus it's hard to have a conversation due to everyone chatting at the top of their lungs lol.
This place is also known for their diverse draft beers, so those beer lovers will be in heaven with a side of delicious pizza!
It gets crowded real quick, but they operate till 1 AM so no worries and plus they give you your own pizza cutter to cut the pizza the way you want it. The atmosphere gets really loud with locals having a fun time or just chatting loud with each other.
Overall simple and delicious and I recommend you all to try it out if you're a pizza lover.
Thanks for the...
Read moreI came here with 6 friends without reservation on a Tuesday at around 07.40. It was raining nonstop that day so we were able to immediately get a table in the corridor. The place is not very big and given its popularity, it can quickly get packed.
They have quite a selection of pizza that you can choose from (more than 10, if I'm not mistaken). However, most of them have tomato-based sauce. The prices range between 4.5 EUR to 12 EUR. I ordered the Buffala (9 EUR).
Buffala is a combination of pomodoro sauce, mozzarella cheese, and basil leaves. It was a simple and humble pizza. But I liked it! The bread was really really good. It was tasty and crunchy at the bottom and the edge while the center was soft. It came in a whole circle and you will hear the cracking sound when you slice it into pieces. The pomodoro sauce was light and fresh. The taste of the cheese was soft and it added a bit of creamyness to the pizza. Because of this combination, it was easy to finish the whole thing without feeling bloated.
It would be even better if they have more varieties with creme-based sauce pizzas. But I definitely recommend this place to get a great...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I have spent one night in Bologna and have had dinner here. Please be aware to be really soon since it gets crowded in very few minutes. It was open less than one hour when we left and it was crowded already in a regular working day. The pizzas and the beers are the best we have had so far in our trip in Italy. Nevertheless, the waiter was super nice to us since we asked him if he had some card from the place since we like to collect these from places we visit and he gave us not only a card but a copy of the brewery menu and some coasters too. You won't regret...
