Best place to eat steak in Cagliari! I had the pleasure to have dinner with 2 friends of mine, we ordered 3 steaks, The meat was outstanding, my steak was a little undercooked for my taste, and the waiter took care of it and he asked the chef to cook it a little more, the beer was insane, we loved it! Gattarancio, bel nome! Si entra nel locale e si scopre che è veramente molto carino e curato, tutto in legno, proprio come ci si aspetta da un birrificio artigianale e beershop. Nell'ingresso, sulla sinistra ti accolgono immediatamente le enormi taniche in metallo valorizzate da una luce che cambia costantemente colore e rilassa, sulla destra invece uno scaffale strapieno di bottiglie di birra. Al piano di sopra si mangia. L'arredo è minimal e contemporaneamente caldo e accogliente, grazie anche al tetto in legno con le assi a vista. Abbiamo preso due birre preparate da loro, buone. Anche il cibo decisamente buono. Abbiamo ordinato un angus da 300g caramellato accompagnato da misticanza di stagione (ottima e soprattutto condita con olio grezzo divino) e una patata al cartoccio con panna acida (ottima anche questa, forse troppa panna per i miei gusti, ma melius abundare quam deficere :D ). Ammetto che mi aspettavo un impiattamento più "rustico" ed invece ci è arrivato un piatto molto curato anche dal punto di vista estetico! Ci tengo vivamente a fare una lode al personale, in particolare al ragazzo che ci ha serviti. Non so come si chiami, ma sa assolutamente fare il suo lavoro, mettere a proprio agio i clienti e probabilmente anche fidelizzarli. Ci siamo sentiti come clienti di una vita nonostante fosse la nostra prima volta al Gattarancio. Perché quattro stelle e non 5? Solo per un motivo: il coperto di € 1.50 + il servizio al 5% forse è eccessivo. Avrei preferito trovare solo una delle due voci, anche se il conto nel complesso era ok! Ci torneremo...
