Nuragica Mostra Experience — Attraction in Cagliari

We went to this museum as it was recommended as tourist attraction. Yet it is so much more than that! Real tourists who are interested in learning about history of the country they are visiting - go there - highly recommended! Sardinia has always fascinated me but not just because of the beaches! To learn about nuragis and the time B.C. - you really get to appreciate this island! The guide was very interactive, knowledgeable and friendly! We learned a lot and it took us to national museum with a knowledge! We really appreciated the whole experience! Thank you and big thanks to our lovely guide! If anything could approve is to sell actual bronze figures! We bought one which was not bronze yet after the experience you want to have a small bronze figure in your home to memorise the history of Sardinia! Tusen...

Great place and so kind host who let me in just after opening hour and guided me - only me -even though I did not have reservation that is why I recommend to book earlier - guided tour only - a host was so nice with excellent English very engaged speaking about History in a very easy and interesting way presenting nuragic culture artefacts which are not original but looks very much so - and at the end there was fantastic multimedial presentation bringing you to nuragic village 4 000 ears Ago. Amazing !!!Day after visiting this Museum I went to Archaeological Museum in Cagliari and it was so great to visit it with all the information I got in this place - I definetly advise to come here before...

The best museum-experience ever, and I have had a few. It was very informative and I learned a lot about the Nuragic culture, which was previously fairly unknown to me, but it slotted in nicely with my previous knowledge about the late stone/early bronze age and forward.

What set this apart from other museums was the tour - it is not a "show" - but a passionate tour by someone who knows and loves this culure and can explain and connect the facts in a way that makes 2000 years of life come alive.

We looked differently at the road signs with the names of female saints afterwards...
