La Bon Bec Cafè — Restaurant in Cagliari

Little café which serves amazing hot chocolate and cocktails along with patisserie. One of the few cafes that remained open until 8pm on Christmas Eve. I had an excellent hot chocolate with cream, thick and not overly sweet, just like it should be! The decor was old fashioned and luxurious, the atmosphere was very Christmasy and cozy. I wish there was more space inside as the tables were all close together making it difficult for servers to pass through. The service was great and the staff were helpful and cheerful. No. I've been traveling through Italy for years now and never in my life have i experienced being taxed 15% at a coffee bar on my bill. Even at restaurants when they do this it's clearly stated and usually a fixed amount. The staff was very nice, especially the waitress. The food and coffee were ok... however the menu in general is not cheap + the bars policy of 15% tax where they take your money for literally nothing... makes this place a definite no return and the value for money ratio...
