We had high hopes for this Italian bistro, but it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences ever. The moment we walked in, we were hit with an heavy smellālike old garbage mixed with stale food. We almost left right away, but we decided to give it a chance. The food was just as bad as the smell. I ordered the degustazionr, and it tasted like they had thrown together random ingredients without a clue. The sauce was greasy, and the pasta was either undercooked or soggy. If it wasnāt enough, it was cold in the middle⦠clearly microwaved leftovers. For an Italian place, they should be embarrassed by the food quality.
What made it worse was the shady area the restaurant is in. By the time we left, it was dark, and we didnāt feel safe walking back to the car. There were no lights outside, and the whole street felt scary. Not to mention, there were a few questionable persons hanging around near the entrance.
The service was slow, and the staff seemed completely uninterested in making our experience any better. Plus, the prices were outrageous for what we got. The whole place felt dirty and poorly managed.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this place⦠bad food, bad location, and overall a nightmare of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStumbled on this place by pure luck. Took a different way back to my place after beach and saw this Piazza (town square) full of people. This place caught my eye. Food was good. I was happy to start with most amazing starters. When pasta came, it was little too salty. Just a pinch, no biggie but stillā¦ā¦ Otherwise it was nicely aldente. Then my main course was little cold. Octopus should be served when ready. It starts to get rubbery after awhile. But overall staff of 3 in the front of the houseā¦.it was amazing how things get done here in Italy . They must have about 30 people atm so understaffed is an understatement. Overall this place is amazing. And food is good. You just cant hit the bullseye all the time. Atmosphere is beautiful at the piazza but I came way too late for that. Instead I got table inside which I was ok. Definitely...

Sitting on one of Cagliari's most charming squares, Cerchio Rosso serves you incredibly delicious food, firmly based in Sardinian tradition, but truly elevated. Most memorable was the sweet and salty ricotta mousse dessert, which would not be out of place in any place with two Michelin stars, but also the fregola (a Ragu incorporating szichuan pepper and wild thyme) and the saffron risotto with pear were outstanding. Fantastic, mostly Sardinian natural wines were served by the glass. Our start to this trip couldn't have been better and, unsurprisingly, no restaurant on this island so far...
