Sa Tracca — Restaurant in Cagliari

It was a memorable experience. We found here by chance, got a table by chance (there was a long queue, and there was just a table for two available). The service was supper nice and friendly. It was clear from the first glance that it is a family business (we asked latter and they confirmed). You could see in their eye how much they love their job and the restaurant and how much they care about their guests, even if they are tourist who may not come back to this island in the next future. The whole restaurant was filled with local people, which emphasise the high quality of food. I don't remember the name of Pizza and snacks which I had, bit I remember how much I enjoyed it. I have eaten pizza all over the world, but nothing compares to Sa Tracca in Cagliari. From the very first bite, I knew I had found something extraordinary. The dough is light yet perfectly crisp, the toppings are vibrant and fresh, and every flavor is balanced with incredible care. There’s a passion in their craft that shines through in every detail — from the quality of the ingredients to the welcoming atmosphere.

This is quality. The staff are superb, the ambiance is buzzing and everyone is having a great time. It’s a youngish well dressed crowd with babies, grandma and the dog.

The food is superb. It’s been a long time since I have had a pizza as good as this. The place is original and so is much of the food whilst being traditional too.

The potato ravioli with lemon cream sauce is exceptionally nice.

The wines are first class too.
