Magnificent cuts of beef, pork and salami of Sardinian locally grown and grass fed animals. The “tagliere” (Big board of cold cuts and cheese) was perfect for 4 adults and 2 kids. Stakes of all varieties were wonderfully prepared and extremely flavorful. Beware that the “burger” is bun-less, but we asked for the kiddo and got a lovely piece of ciabatta to assemble it back to “best ever” burger. Hi highly recommend the “carne salata” (salt cured cold beef cuts) that was described as between carpaccio and bresaola and served with a drizzle of EVOO, perfect with insalata mista. The ragù is on the smaller size but filling and extremely good. I doubt there is a way to go wrong with this place that is a kitchen and butcher. You can also buy their salami at the counter. This was an amazing experience. We had planned to go to another restaurant but stumbled on the google reviews for this restaurant and I immediately knew we had to go here. From the moment we walked into the unassuming store front we were greeted by a very nice man who spoke to me slowly enough in Italian that I could understand. He was patient and kind. Our waiter(s) spoke English and were kind enough to let me stumble through what little Italian I know. The food was A++ perfectly cooked Fiorentina steak and the wine delicious. This place is one of the best meals I’ve ever had. As someone who prefers simple, unpretentious food, I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a burger, which came with a generous 200g burger, a fresh salad, and potatoes. It may sound basic, but trust me, it was enough to satisfy me. The quality of the meat was evident in every bite.
