So the restaurant weren’t to know about my pregnant girlfriend, but regardless, the treatment from one waitress in particular was quite needlessly rude.

We were seated and asked for some drinks to enjoy the view. We received the drinks from a nice waiter and were only going to be 10 minutes to drink my beer and my girlfriend’s water.

The waitress decided to make it blindingly obvious we were not welcome if we were not ordering food (maybe this should have been asked before if this is the policy) but once we had received the drinks, did she have to tell us to finish as soon as possible even though there were plenty of available tables (it was not that busy).

If you don’t want people coming just for drinks, maybe this should be made clearer when they arrive. Also, it’s not a big deal. Let people have their drink and go? Instead, we ended up taking our bottles and drank like teenagers nearby… also fun but not what we...

When we first approached, a rude and aggressive waiter shoved at us a plastic thimble of pink so-called Aperol spritz. We sat down anyway as we were hungry and tired.

The food was mediocre at best. Prosciutto and melon was so so. Melon not great. Sliced bread weirdly delivered in a brown paper bag. (Is this a thing?). I asked for a pepper grinder - he said there wasn’t one and handed me a little paper packet of stale pepper.

We recommend this restaurant for everyone — both adults and kids! We didn’t book in advance, but despite the place being full, we didn’t have to wait a second — it seems the waiters here have a secret mind-reading talent. And the waiters themselves are simply stars: friendly, professional, and with a great sense of humor, making the service so enjoyable you want to come back again and again. The food is delicious, the portions generous — you definitely won’t leave hungry.
