Please, please don’t go there. By the reviews here, it seems like this place was great in the past but the team is not the same (maybe the owner changed). It’s a scam, and I really wanted it to be a nice, different experience.

We paid 22 euros for two very small, very average drinks. The guy who served us didn’t seem to like us or something. He didn’t explain anything, got annoyed when I said I was allergic to grapefruit and then, when presenting the drinks, barely said a word on what was there. I felt like I paid a lot of money for someone to make me a mediocre drink. He made me a 150ml martini with a little bit of bergamot and lemongrass and a shot of tequila and mint with a massive block of ice for my boyfriend for twice the price of a decent large cocktail in any surrounding bar. Not even the glasses looked nice, we didn’t even take pictures it was all so disappointing.

I was expecting an interesting experience and was met with underwhelming bartending. The place itself looks good and the dog is indeed cute.

So yeah, if I were you I wouldn’t trust years ir months old reviews for this place. Just skip this...

I tend not to leave reviews for places I haven't actually been a customer in, but I felt the need to complain about the slow service, which has only come up in 5-star reviews previously. Visiting on a Monday night, with only 3 or 4 small groups of people in the bar, the two of us were hurriedly told to sit down when we had stood at the bar for a while looking for a drinks menu of some sort. Having sat down outside, we waited for around 15 minutes while waiters served the other table outside with customers, sometimes stopping to have a chat there. After the 15 minutes we decided that if it takes that long for them to even take our order, we don't want to find out how long it will be until we get our drinks or the bill, and decided to leave. Shame, I was looking forward to a good cocktail, something that seems to be quite difficult to find in Sicily. 2 stars for the nice (if slightly stereotypical and polished) hipster-chic decor and the lovely smell of fresh herbs...
