Unfortunately, there aren’t many traditional eateries left in Sicily. While searching for a local restaurant on Google Maps, we came across this small pizzeria—and we’re glad we did. There are just two people working inside, and everything is cooked beautifully over a wood fire.
After placing your order, you simply wait for your takeaway pizza. You can either take it with you or enjoy it at one of the outdoor tables.
Of course, after visiting Naples, I stopped comparing pizzas altogether—nothing beats Neapolitan pizza! Still, this place stands out with its handmade dough and authentic preparation.
It’s not expensive, and the pizzas are on the smaller side, which actually makes it great for trying a few different varieties.
