An incredible culinary experience. It is in the center of Catania, but when you go inside it's kinda go in an other world. A warm and friendly place, with great music and full of originality and creativity. Originality is not just referred to the fact that every element inside is old, new, humble, rich and strange at the same time, but it is refereed to every single dish, both for names and compositions. It is for sure one of the place in which I eated better in all my life, and it's strange say that I was confused about what to order, not because I wasn't sure if I had to like what I wanted to order, but because I wanted to order everything. I'm not able to describe these dishes, I was able to understand what I eated just thanks to the really cordial and well prepared staff. I'm sorry if my "cannolo with sweet cheese of Buffalo" have not a photo, but after that I received it, I let it disappear before that I was able to have a photo.

Un incredibile esperienza culinaria. Questo locale si trova in pieno centro, ma una volta dentro è come se ci si ritrovasse in un altro mondo. Un luogo accogliente, con un invidiabile sottofondo musicale, ma soprattutto ricco di originalità. Originalità non solo riferita alla decorazione del locale, nel quale tutto sembra retrò, moderno, alla mano, chich e strano allo stesso tempo, ma originalità nei piatti, sia per quanto riguarda i nomi, sia per quanto riguarda gli accostamenti studiati nei particolari. Che altro dire? Ho mangiato da dio, sicuramente uno dei luoghi in cui abbia mangiato meglio in vita mia, e con stupore posso dire che non sapevo cosa ordinare non perché non sapevo se il piatto mi sarebbe piaciuto, ma perché mi piaceva davvero tutto. Le foto valgono più di mille parole, per cui ecco a voi le foto della mia cena, mi dispiace solo per il cannolo di ricotta di bufala, perché non l'ho fatto campare abbastanza da fotografarlo. Mi spiace ma la descrizione dei piatti è troppo complessa, per fortuna pensa a tutto il personale,...

Dont let the touristy location fool you, this is an authentic sicilian restaurant with only the freshest local ingredients as well as friendly and enthusiastic service. The prices are also very reasonable.

Our waitress was not confident with her english however it was much better than she gave herself credit for, definitely well above the normal level we have found in restaurants and when she was unable to find the correct word she made up for it with enthusiasm and gestures, even mooing to explain beef as we didnt understand her pronunciation of cow. She was genuine and lovely.

The restaurant has only been open 2 months and they don't have a set menu as they use only local and fresh produce and so dishes are based on availability.

We had octopus salad and fish carpaccio for starters and both were excellent, then carbonara and speghetti with cream of tuna for main. They were the best pasta we have had in italy / sicily!! (we have spent the last 2 weeks driving and eating our way from venice).

The house white wine was excellent and there are various craft and alternative beers.

To finish we had cannoli which were also by far the best we have had....

Stay away from that place. Food was terrible, everything was served on disposable plates. The worst carbonara I have ever ordered, I literally sent it back the movement it arrived. Same for fried squid, you couldn’t eat it, it was chewy, cold, disgusting! Gin&Tonic was served with water not tonic, not sure what it was really. Service was the worst in my whole entire life. Waitress with red hair and nose piercing had no clue what she was doing, she didn’t even bring us cutlery, she took our order 3 times and still couldn’t get it right. We were sitting at the empty table at least for 15min. She and another girls where literally laughing to our faces, making rude comments, didn’t even make an effort to make it right or even apologise, nothing. We asked for manager, the lady didn’t agree with our comments, she told us to speak to the waitress. We spent 9 days in Catania and we ate in different places every day, and this restaurant ruined our evening. One word to describe our experience with this place: Joke!...
