Ristorante Basalto — Restaurant in Catania

My wife’s company had a dinner here a month ago and she wanted me to experience the restaurant. We walked in yesterday and made a reservation with Daniela for 13:00 today. On our way to the restaurant we received a call ten minutes before our reservation telling us the colleague made a mistake and the restaurant is full. We could be seated in the lobby if we wanted. No, we did not want to sit in the lobby. Either they are disorganized or lied about being full. They did not offer any sort of compensation. AMAZING restaurant! Food was so good, one of the best places I’ve experienced in Sicily! Got a complimentary appetizer and when the waiter noticed I was vegetarian he switched to another one (that was delicious) Also, we got refills of bread during our entire meal and as a bonus the olive oil served with it was exceptional (endded up buying a bottle) Service was beyond amazing and super patient and considerate Not cheap but totally worth it, will definitely recommend everyone who’s visiting...

Per esperienza personale ritengo che la cucina a vista è una garanzia per i clienti, la pulizia all'interno della struttura regna sovrana, il servizio è stato impeccabile ,la gentilezza di tutto lo staff nei confronti miei e di tutti gli invitati e da prendere come esempio per chi ha un ristorante ed inoltre devo riconoscere di aver mangiato BENISSIMO!!!
