I’ve never thought that I ever write a google review but here it is to save the world

This was some of the worst food we’ve ever had. The French fries have been just sloppy and tasteless, the caponata was all greasy and not good at all but okay to be fair the veal meatballs were okay. But the worst of the experience is the menu, the communication with stuff and that you really have the feeling they betray you on purpose

While ordering they say that things aren’t available and bring you other stuff. We ordered one of the menus but no one is telling you how this “system” works so they just bring additional food and of course the mayonnaise packages (by far the smallest I’ve ever seen) while be charged too. Also the water included to the menu wasn’t brought to table. We asked for and got it but I’m Quite sure they charged it extra.

Unfortunately when you have questions about the bill no one is speaking English anymore and they just try to ignore you.

We went there because we wanted a small and cheap snack. After ordering we thought this will be like 20€ in the end it was around 40€. Seeing the other reviews, seems like we even got lucky with our experience.

This is by far the worst food we’ve ever had in Italy and one of the worst experiences taking food I can remember in general.

Don’t go there, you’re better off taking a bag of chips and a bottle of water. Definitely more honest and more of an Italian...

I wish I read the review comments before. They attract you with decent price menus...for example 15 euros for XL...so thats max size ..and picture is showing..including drinks...you get one plate of 2 small pieces of meat and in green onion wraped bacon, 3,4 pieces of fried mozzarela, cabbage and eggplant ..it was so much fat that the food was swming in...and last but not the least... lukewarm and even cold...The price 30 euros... wanted to get a breakdown of price so they told me, 15 for a meat ,8 for vegetables, 6for beer and 1 for service. I would call it typical scam. If they would steal extra 5 ok but thats really amusing how shameless you can be when repeatedly explaing people high prices on their bill....avoid.....or point out the item and price you are willing to pay...

Unfortunately, even though the food was really good, we had a little " bait and switch" experience. We ordered the " complete menu" for 10 euros per person...even pointed to it on the menu What we got was a meat tray for 15 euros per person and contorno turned out to be extra as did dessert. We were "offered" an after lunch drink that turned out to cost us 4 euros per person ! Our 20 euro complete meal ended up costing well over 60 euros ! Do not believe the posted menu prices and ask what the cost is per item before ordering... such a shame because we travel to Sicily every year and have not been " taken" like this in a very long time. We complained, but the owner pretended not to understand and just said " buona giornata"...in other words, bye bye...
