Overall the food & service were good & big portions. A lot of fresh seafood choices on display. I ordered a homemade fresh fettuccine dish but when it came it was linguine & clearly dry pasta. When I raised this the waiter still said it’s homemade fettuccine. I insisted it’s not. Realising this foreigner/tourist cudnt be fooled they admitted it was not & apologised, also gave me a post dinner liqueur. locale sito nel centro di catania, ben illuminato e riconoscibile dalla strada in cui è presente uno spazio molto ampio in cui parcheggiare i propri mezzi. Entrati nel locale siamo stati accolti dallo staff che ci ha gentilmente accompagnato al tavolo e su richiesta ci è stata fornita una sedia in più per appoggiare borse e cappotti. Siamo stati subito serviti con due antipasti, un mix di pesce marinato ( polpo, gamberetti, salmone affumicato, pesce spada affumicato ed ostrica) ed "una" porzione di calamaretti spilli fritti, le porzioni erano molto abbondanti, i calamaretti fritti erano leggeri e non avevano quel sapore di frittura pesante, il mix di pesce marinato era molto buono e la materia prima fresca, soprattutto l'ostrica che aveva un sapore ottimo, piccola critica che posso fare sono i gamberetti che non erano stati puliti bene ed avevano ancora l'intestino. Come primo ho preso delle linguine cacio e pepe con tartare di scampi, pasta cotta alla perfezione e bella cremosa, tartare fresca e abbondante ( avrei preferito fosse un minimo condita), per concludere ho preso un trancio di salmone in crosta di pistacchio con contorno di patate al forno, BUONISSIMO, il salmone risultava essere morbido e cotto per bene, le patate fresche ( con tutta la buccia) erano ottime, ben condite dal rosmarino e dal sale , il tutto accompagnato da una salsa, squisito. Il locale offre una scelta molto ampia, disponibile anche un menù di carne. Esperienza decisamente molto positiva, locale bello all'interno, atmosfera perfetta per una cena in compagnia, cibo ottimo e ultima nota positiva è il servizio, staff molto gentile e disponibile.
