This is a lovely restaurant in the Old Town area of Cefalú. The main dining area is open roofed which means that it is nice and cool in the evening. It has an elegant feel with linen table cloths and napkins. There are also several paintings along one wall and a barrel with colourful cacti ornaments on top. Adding to the positive ambience is a live singer, accompanied by a guitarist, who sang a range of contemporary songs - from Illegal Alien by Sting, an Amy Winehouse song, plus Latin vibe and Italian songs too. We thoroughly enjoyed our choices of Capocollo of Nebrodi Black Pig, Braised Modica with Lemon Sauce and Mashed Potatoes and Modica Beef Ragu (Cefaludese). The beef and pork were so tender they melted beautifully in the mouth. A true culinary experience! There is an extensive wine list so I'm sure you'll find one to match your taste and meal. Our meal was rounded off with a delicious Chocolate Cake. Service was especially warm and friendly. Booking for dinner is essential. Of the four restaurants we visited in our short stay in Cefalú this was by far the best. Highly...

Read moreWe just walked into this restaurant randomly and we are so pleased we made this decision. The food was fabulous, staff were very nice and friendly. It was just a pleasant experience and I would say this is the best restaurant we have visited among the four days we have spent in Sicily so far. From the starter, to pasta and the protein (we ordered the beef and the fish), the side salad, and finally the desserts ( we ordered the chocolate cake and Vanilla ice cream, ), all were delicately cooked into perfection. Staff had been very helpful and nice to my 4 year old, and could speak very good English! That’s a bonus for a tourist. Would recommend for anyone who is...
