Antichi Sapori di Alberto Carleo — Restaurant in Como

I could not find words to describe this restaurant. The best restaurant I've ever been in my life. Alberto was so kind to bring my dish "Linguine del Pescatore" but the kindness of bringing my dish and say "buon appettito" was not as lovely as the taste of the food, I love pasta and I love seafood, but I have never tried a combination so perfect as that one. It was lovely to hear the best options from the menu by the waitress in a very lovely italian way. I have now one wish, and it is to be back at this restaurant.

Small tavern, in a secluded street away from the center, family run by husband and wife for years. Cozy and intimate place, few seats. Cucina meets all the needs of both Italians and foreigners and the prices are very fair, you don't pay for water, a rarity now. Pretty lady and I would give a 10 for the knowledge of languages, even a German. The husband is very good in the kitchen and prepares genuine dishes without frills, but good. See you next time...

Location molto familiare ed accogliente, dal look un po datato ma secondaria rispetto al menù. Accoglienza top anche da parte dello chef che uscendo dalla cucina ha augurato una buona permanenza e, per il caso, anche una buona domenica. Cucina a vista oltre il bancone d'ingresso, pulita e SPLENDENTE. Menù contenuto ma dalle pietanze ottime, gustose e con portate discretamente abbondanti. Frittura di mais squisita, cottura dei gamberi assolutamente perfetta, forse il must. Il risotto curry piovra e gamberi spezza dalla classica lista di pietanze di pesce, assolutamente distintivo, ma chiamo all'attenzione chi non ha buon rapporto col piccante. La signora che riceve e prende gli ordini è come di famiglia, mantenendo comunque la giusta distanza ed il giusto rispetto, forse un poco eccessiva o polemica, ma comunque con benevolenza. Cameriera super disponibile, sorridente (con gli occhi, data la mascherina per questo periodo), silenziosa e di impeccabile presenza. Prezzi contenuti, anche sotto la media considerando altra concorrenza a Como. Sicuramente...
