Ristorante COMI107 — Restaurant in Como

This place was recommended to us the the owner of our Bed & Breakfast and it did definitely did not disappoint!!! Absolutely LOVELY little restaurant, run by the most charming and talented Italian couple imaginable. The food is definitely ready for a Michelin Star (or two!), extremely fresh, imaginative, unique and absolutely crazy-delicious! Just perfection!! Even the bread was hot, home made, just the best we’ve ever had, honestly. The prices are almost too moderate for the quality of what you get (we paid €130 with two starters, two mains, a bottle of wine, water, coffee at the end - so we really had everything we could think of) Our whole experience was exquisit from beginning to end. Thank you so much! We only stayed in Como for one night, but I wouldn’t even LOOK for another restaurant in the city ever again, as I am absolutely sure this is by far the BEST place in the whole of the area. Thank you so much - we will definitely be coming back and we will be recommending the place with the highest praise to all of our friends and family...

Without doubt the best food we had in Como. The chef/proprietor knows exactly what he's doing and he's doing it well. This isn't cucina nonna, it's sophisticated Italian food that is both generous and refined. The shrimp risotto was joyful - beautifully cooked from scratch (minimum 2 people). The tuna secondi and the lamb secondi both perfect. In particular the sauce that came with the lamb was outstanding. A couple of glasses of Amarone to wash it all down and job done. Could not have been happier. The restaurant is tiny approximately 30 covers, and possibly another 10 covers outside. The restaurant front-of-house is run by the chef's wife and she too knows what she's doing. She will point you in the right direction regarding wines if you're not quite up to speed on Italian wines (I'm not). Charming professionalism....

With no reservation I grant the “5 star assessment” to this cozy and home-feel like restaurant.

I visited many countries around the world and tried their cuisine. This one has got my attention as they succeeded in delivering the true Italian taste in an artistic presentation.

This collectively demonstrates the sincere food technique and planning efforts, passion and quality-taste which the Chef possess. And, the service is rated at excellent, with good care and attention.

All of this is obviously resulting out of a team work being orchestrated in a friendly and warm environment.

I truly had a unique experience with eating a great Italian food. And, this place will be my must-visit in the next travel to Como, whenever I pass by Italy in the time to come.
