Bar Le Dahu Courmayeur — Restaurant in Courmayeur

My husband and I just had dinner and it was the worst experience ever. While we were having cocktails the sound of glass breaking in the bar was frequent. Once every 5 minutes. My husband ordered tagliatelle bolognese. He was eating and felt a crunch. There was broken glass in his food. The staff took the dish away and did not even apologize. The owner was too busy smoking marijuana and watching sports on his phone to care. DO NOT EAT HERE! The owner did not even want to comp the meal or the dish . I am embarrassed to admit that I am Italian heritage. I have travelled the world and never been treated...

Prices are crazy high without any justification. 4 euros for cappuccino! The waitress couldn't be worse - she took ages to write down the order on her tablet, and she stopped while taking our order to take an order from other costumers and clean a table. When asked to finish the order, she finished another couple of things before returning, not even sorry. The coffee wasn't any good, and the pastries...

Decent enough food and service, but me oh my are these guys charging absurd prices. In what universe is a coke €6?? Insult to injury with the €3/person Coperto and €5 for flat water (we were not asked on size or quoted price).

Maybe our fault being in the more touristy area, staff and food were nice enough so if money’s no object give it a shot. If you’re a fellow monetary mortal...
