Ristorante Trattoria De Gobbi — Restaurant in Creazzo

Wonderful 170 year old Italian restaurant in Vicenza, Italy. Top quality service and atmosphere. Very nice food and excellent dessert!

Upon entry you see the full kitchen and steaks, then the dessert cart... Already very good first impression. Table service was very good and the waiter speaks perfect english. House wine was quite nice, Italian Cabernet with mid body, fruity and easy to drink. On food:

Cold cut cheese platter — excellent.

Black angus steak for 2 — incredible, especially the potatoes cooked with oil from the steak. Mind that it is huge, can easily be for 3.

Tagliatelle wild boar — very good. They give huge portions for pastas here.

Speciality macaroni — Mascarpone based sauce, not really to my taste. I knew mascarpone itself is not so flavorful in hot dishes but was expecting a bit more.

Desserts — had Tiramisu and some kind of Italian Mille-feuille. Both exceptionally good!

Overall a great dining experience. Good for business meals, couples, gatherings. Lots of parking available. No english menu but it is not that hard to order and staffs speak english. The restaurant was full at night, so reservation is highly...

UPDATE: food was excellent and service was the best. Extreme friendly and very professional. Pasta was perfect (just the right amount of sauce and spiciness) and they still got the best tiramisu in Vicenza. Giving 5 stars!!!

Above average price. If you are looking for fisso lunch then this place doesn't offer fisso. But good price and good food, so worth a visit if...

A family owned restaurant with long history. The waiters are super friendly and we'll dressed up, which adds to the experience, the decor of the place is super cozy and they have a wood cooking in house.

The dishes were excellent, the pasta was delicious, a must try. The fish was also a good choice but the main speciality of the place is meat. The deserts were excellent as well, the tiramisu was to die for and I rarely like...
