Appalling behavior – avoid this place if you value respect We had one of the most disrespectful encounters we've ever experienced at this so-called “restaurant.” While checking the menu outside, a young staff member with short black hair came out to explain the dishes. We quickly noticed that the prices were absurdly high for our student budget. We politely said thank you and started to leave. To our disbelief, the staff member threw a sarcastic comment at us: “There's a McDonald's over there.” The condescension in his voice was undeniable, it was a deliberate attempt to humiliate us just because we couldn’t afford their overpriced food. This kind of arrogant, elitist attitude is disgusting. No matter how expensive or “fancy” a place claims to be, basic human respect should never be optional. The fact that a member of their staff thought it was acceptable to mock customers says everything about the values of this establishment. Places like this don’t deserve your time or your money. If you're a tourist, a student, or just someone who believes in being treated with dignity, do yourself a favor and stay far away. We were told a T-bone steak usually weigh around 1.2-1.5kg (6 euro/100g) for 2 servings at the entrance. But when we ordered inside, the other waiter kept saying 2.6 when we were telling him we wanted the doneness to be medium rare. We asked what is 2.6 and then he replied medium rare. The waiter didn’t mention the keyword KG at all, so we were confused and thought that this was their local term for medium rare. We have also told the waiter that we only wanted a small to medium portion of T-bone, since we have ordered a starter dish. To our surprise, the serving was huge (seems to be for 3-4pax) and we ended up finishing only less than half of the steak. It turned out to be a 2.6kg steak when the bill came. How can 2 person finish a 2.6kg steak, especially when we have also ordered a starter dish?? It was such a waste of food! In addition, the T-bone steak was served on a sizzling hot plate (which the waiter did not inform us when we ordered) and almost half of the steak became medium well to well done when we were about to eat it. The total bill came up to be 210€ for 2 person (including a small bottle of 31€ wine) I felt that this is a total scam of money for tourists! Be careful when you order...

The wine selection was impressive, with a range of local wines that paired beautifully with each dish. I opted for a robust Chianti, which enhanced the flavors of my meal wonderfully.

To finish, I couldn't resist the homemade tiramisu. It was the perfect balance of creamy and sweet, leaving me completely satisfied. Every bite at Trattoria Bella Toscana was a testament to their dedication to quality and tradition.
