I had an incredible experience at Floret during my recent trip to Florence. Over the course of just three days, I found myself returning again and again — for lunch, dinner (twice!) and the KOMBUCHA (wow). Floret isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a haven. A place where you can eat, read, relax, and feel genuinely welcomed. The space itself is bright, open, and effortlessly calming. It invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy the moment — whether you’re savoring a delicious meal or just soaking in the vibrant energy around you. But what truly sets Floret apart is its people. The team here is pure light: kind, thoughtful, and full of life. A special thank you to Florence (we shared a laugh over me not being able to pronounce your given name!), Glendice, Claudia, and one other lovely team member whose name I let slip past my memory (I’m sorry - but your eyes I cannot forget). You all made me feel at home in a city I was only just getting to know. The food? Absolutely wonderful — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It nourished both body and soul. Floret, you made my Florence experience complete. Thank you for your warmth, the conversations, and the care. Keep being as bright as you are — the world needs it.

I had an amazing experience at floret! They were full but were able to sit me at the bar. The bartender was kind and chatty and made my matcha how I wanted (well almost, with a little extra water than ideal, but it’s ok ;), but the quality of the matcha itself was excellent. The salmon was delicious and the salad accompanying it was nutritious but a little sweet. I also wanted to try the pesto and sourdough from the burrata but didn’t want to order the whole dish, and they were so kind to accommodate and brought out a decently sized taste for me. I expected to be charged for it but then they did not charge me which was very generous. The service was great and so was the ambience. If you are in need of a veg forward slightly American meal after too many paste and panini, this is the place to go! An added plus is the water is free.

This place is so aesthetic! They serve very fancy drinks and food perfect for a late breakfast or lunch. The drinks are so good this time I had the wild berry iced tea but I can also recommend the iced matcha latte a lot, they also have iced matcha with coconut water and jasmin syrup- a dream, you have to try it !!! I also went to the other location of them in Via Roma I had coffee there the other day and had the best cheescake ever with mango, it was perfect not too sweet but very fruity with mango puree on top- 10/10 it was just my taste and absolutely delicious. I also wanna mention the service especially Claudia is a sunshine she took so much care of us and was always smiling. Definitely coming back again.

A Must-Visit Gem in Florence: Floret Delivers an Exceptional Brunch Experience

During our visit to Florence, we had the pleasure of dining at Floret, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such genuine warmth and hospitality that it immediately set the tone for an unforgettable experience.

We ordered the Brunch Lover with an added touch of Halloumi, as well as the Halloumi Mushroom Brioche with additional poached eggs. Each dish was an absolute delight – beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The Halloumi, in particular, was perfectly cooked, and the brioche was soft, rich, and harmonized wonderfully with the earthy mushrooms and silky poached eggs.

What stood out even more than the exceptional food was the outstanding service. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, showing incredible kindness not only to us but also to our dog, who was treated with such attentiveness and care. Their thoughtful gestures made the experience all the more special.

One unexpected highlight was the olive oil – a revelation in its own right. Rich, fragrant, and perfectly balanced, it elevated every bite to another level.

Floret is a place I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone visiting Florence. Whether you’re a brunch enthusiast or simply someone who appreciates high-quality food and warm hospitality, this is the...
