Il Terzo Cerchio — Restaurant in Florence

Total disappointment!!!! The restaurant is really busy but definitely under staff. We waited ages to be served, finally one of the staff came over. Because the menu is in intalian, we couldn't really understand, all we want is some traditional intalian food with meat and he suggested a piece of steak which is Not on the menu. We took his advice and again waited for nearly an hour for our food to come. The steak is nothing special but under cooked!!! After spending nearly two hours in the restaurant for some very ordinary food, we asked for the bill...another big shock...we were charged for €44 for the steak plus €4 for the fries...compare to the menu price this is really outrageous, nothing is more than €20 on the menu. We went there with a group of friends on Saturday evening. We were lucky to come earlier as we were a group of over 20 people without booking and 30 min later the place get very busy. The food was delicious and the portions very generous. The waitress our table was very friendly as was the owner. We had to wait for couple of our meals quite a long time as some of the orders were forgotten, but considering how busy they were and how good time we had it wasn't an issue. Especially after the when the orders after arriving were so well done and tasty that everyone said it was worth waiting. Also the prices were great. After ordering some shots we get bottles with the spirits to our tables to help ourselves. Great place...

DO NOT EAT HERE. We walked in and ask for a menu, the guy point to the menu on the wall and said you need english menu? He gave us an English version, we order three ideas off the menu which totalled up to 22.50 euro. When it came time to pay he said 25 euro. I told him what the price on the menu said and show him. He said it’s old menu. I said why did you give us an old menu and not say anything. He said no problem and walked away with the food.
