Trattoria Da Beppino — Restaurant in Florence

Restaurant was almost empty when we showed up at 8pm on Thursday. The steak was 58 euro but not chewable. We have eaten Florentine steak at other restaurants, and it was not as this bad. When we told this to the waiter, he just nodded and snickered.

We were also charged extra 8 euro in addition to one tap water (3 euro). When we asked what the 8 euro was for, the waitress winked at the cashier and said it was 2 euro per individual cup, in addition to one tap water for 3 euro.

Most of the 5 star reviews were likely fake, as the words were all generic and similar. This restaurant will likely shut down soon due to bad food and dishonesty, even with the...

Outside it looks like nothing special but, once you go inside, you will se this warm and cosy place that makes you feel like you're home. The staff is friendly and food is more than amazing! The fiorentina is fresh, they make you choose the weight of the fiorentina. They cook the meat accordingly to the client's situation: we ordered a starter and before cooking the meat, they asked us if they can start cooking our fiorentinas. The place is simple,yet cozy and it is run by a family thus, every thing is genuine and freshly made! The meat melts is in the mouth.

I DEFINITELY SUGGEST THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN AUTHENTIC...

Avrei voluto mettere 0 stelle... Ma purtroppo non e' concesso. Ieri sera io e la mia famiglia abbiamo provato a cenare in questa trattoria, dopo aver letto le recensioni (da capire poi chi le fa e come le fa)..! Comunque... Iniziamo dal menu, totalmente scarno ed approssimativo (bruschette a 5€ senza indicare quanti pezzi, idem per i crostini toscani). Ordiniamo bruschette e crostini per 4, poi 3 tagliolini cacio e pepe (sul menu era riportato che erano fatti in casa), ed uno gnocco della nonna. 5€ di bruschette (dicasi 2 mezze fettine di pane al pomodoro per ciascuno.... Quindi 20 € per 4 persone pari ad 8 mezze fettine di pane....bahh).. Arrivano i primi... I tagliolini galleggiano nell'acqua.. pieni di pepe.. ed il cacio neanche in lontananza.. (tralasciando il fatto che non erano affatto tagliolini fatti in casa ma noodles)...lo gnocco totalmente insapore.. avrebbe dovuto essere ai 4 formaggi quando poi c'era solo un po di philadelphia scaldato.. ovviamente faccio riportare tutto indietro e blocco i secondi. Andiamo via dopo aver pagato 60€ per bruschette e crostini.. 2 bottiglie di acqua.m e 2 coca cola zero. Decisamente inaccettabile! Mi sono sentito quasi preso in giro e derubato. Certa gente non puo' e non deve fare ristorazione, soprattutto in una citta'...
