Trattoria La Dolce Vita — Restaurant in Florence

We had an absolutely incredible dining experience here! Every single dish was bursting with freshness and you could truly taste the love and care that went into preparing it. We enjoyed every single plate we ordered and each one felt like a little work of art. The owner is such a warm and kind-hearted woman, and it was inspiring to see her running the entire restaurant all by herself while still serving the most delicious food. Her passion and dedication shine through in every bite. We were enjoying ourselves so much that we only managed to take one single photo before diving into the rest, that’s how good it was!

Food was lovely. Authentic and delicious Italian food. Our only complaint on the food was our steak not cooked quite right but the rest was lovely. Our main issue was the service . This restaurant has one person doing everything, waiting tables, cooking....literally everything and the service was painfully slow. We were the first people in there for evening service, and had only started and main course and it took 3 hours! By the time we left there were a total of 10 covers in the restaurant, including us 5.... it could be a great little place if they just employed a waiter/waitress....

Wir waren auf unserer Italien Rundreise in diesem Restaurant essen und waren sehr begeistert. Man darf nur nicht so ganz festgelegt auf die Öffnungszeiten sein, denn das Restaurant wird so geöffnet wie es gerade passt ☺️ Liegt vielleicht daran dass das Restaurant, so sah es für uns zumindest aus, alleine von einer ganz zauberhaften "Nonna" betrieben wurde. Wir waren anfangs die einzigen Gäste im Restaurant und wurde ganz herzlich empfangen. Obwohl wir kein italienisch sprechen und die liebe Anna kein Englisch, hat die Verständigung gut geklappt. Die Speisekarte war nicht riesig aber für uns war genau das drauf was wir in Italien essen möchten, nämlich Pizza und Pasta. Wir haben uns für Spaghetti Carbonara und Gnocchi mit Gorgonzola Sauce entschieden, dazu Mineralwasser und eine Karaffe Hauswein. Der Wein war sehr lecker und oh mein Gott, wir haben die besten Spaghetti Carbonara und Gnocchi mit Gorgonzola Sauce gegessen die wir jemals hatten. Wir sind auf dieses Restaurant durch Google Maps gestoßen und dort hin gegangen weil die Bewertungen zum Essen sehr gut waren. Ich kann sagen, unsere Erwartungen waren deshalb sehr hoch und wurden dennoch übertroffen. Nicht nur wegen des Essens und des Weines sondern auch wegen der absolut liebreizenden Art von Anna. Außerdem isst man hier nicht nur sehr gut sondern auch absolut preiswert, was in Italien eher eine Seltenheit ist. Das Restaurant ist vielleicht nicht das stylischste oder schickste, für das Essen lohnt sich der Besuch aber auf jeden Fall und deshalb können wir es nur jedem empfehlen der in Florenz zu Besuch ist, hier einmal Essen zu gehen wenn ihr echte, authentische...
