Vivaldino Bistro — Restaurant in Florence

I was passing by the street in search of a nice place to eat. Something special, not touristic, but still in the Centro Storico. For the last 10 years, every single year, I spent a couple of weeks in Italy and ate in a lot of Italian restaurants. I consider myself a very

lucky person to have stepped in this wonderful place. Barely opened a month ago, decorated with great taste, with an open kitchen concept, where you can see the chef cooking your meals. A small but very elaborated menu for a gourmet restaurant by the chef Ivan. It’s a wonder to see him working. Even better to taste his dishes. I found myself coming back almost every day to be able to taste the entire menu, fortunately not exhausting myself – typical Italian cuisine but in a very different, yet always delicious way. A special mention to the host - Amanda. I don’t know how she manages to make every guest feel welcome and absolutely unique, but I think she has such a big heart and cares about this place so much, that you leave the Vivaldino Bistro feeling absolutely happy. She speaks almost every language and does everything possible to make your experience at this restaurant amazingly special. After my two-week trip to Florence, I would like to thank the Vivaldino Bistro for an unforgettably pure Italian experience of Dolce Vita and for their gourmet Italian cuisine. In the end, I have grown to love this little Vivaldino bistro for the wonderful food there and beautiful people who make it so amazing.

Stavo passando per la strada in cerca di un bel posto dove mangiare. Qualcosa di speciale, non turistico, ma pur sempre nel Centro Storico. Negli ultimi 10 anni, ogni singolo anno, ho trascorso un paio di settimane in Italia e ho mangiato in molti ristoranti italiani. Mi reputo una persona molto fortunata ad aver messo piede in questo posto meraviglioso. Aperto appena un mese fa, arredato con grande gusto, con un concetto di cucina a vista, dove puoi vedere lo chef che cucina i tuoi pasti. Un menu piccolo ma molto elaborato per un ristorante gourmet dallo chef Ivan. È una meraviglia vederlo lavorare. Ancora meglio assaggiare i suoi piatti. Mi sono ritrovata a tornare quasi tutti i giorni per poter gustare l'intero menù, fortunatamente non esaurendomi, cucina tipica italiana ma in modo molto diverso, eppure sempre delizioso. Una menzione speciale all'ospite - Amanda. Non so come riesca a far sentire ogni ospite benvenuto e assolutamente unico, ma penso che abbia un cuore così grande e tenga così tanto a questo posto, che lasci il Vivaldino Bistro sentendoti assolutamente felice. Parla quasi tutte le lingue e fa tutto il possibile per rendere la tua esperienza in questo ristorante incredibilmente speciale. Dopo il mio viaggio di due settimane a Firenze, vorrei ringraziare il Vivaldino Bistro per un'esperienza italiana indimenticabile di Dolce Vita e per la loro cucina italiana gourmet. Alla fine, ho imparato ad amare questo piccolo bistrot Vivaldino per il cibo meraviglioso e le persone meravigliose che lo rendono così...

In the area near our accommodation, and close to Firenze train station, right opposite the famous Santa Maria Novella perfumery, Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella. Great food and beverages. Devoured all meals on separate occasions and fully satisfied. Great prices for area too! breakfast juice, coffee and scrambled eggs. Dinner perfectly cooked medium rare steak, desert chocolate sable with pistachio.. Great espresso Martinis and red wine. Host was an exceptional woman, taking orders, delivering food etc making sure everyone was well looked after. Thanks so much. Been lucky with great food on this trip!...

I’ve had three dinners in Rome and three in Florence. My dinner at Vivaldino Osteria on via Della Scala 21/R, Firenze has been by far the most excellent. Superbly flavorful Ravioli with pecorino, pears, Parmesan cream, honey & tomato sauce. Highly recommend! Wish I could come back again some time soon. My expectations for delicious Italian dinners at the other restaurants were met with much disappointment but my meal at Vivaldino Osteria far exceeded my expectations.
