Bar Picciuli dal 1850 di Antonio Dalle Sasse — Restaurant in Gallipoli

The location is very good. However this little bar that seems to be frequented by local people is instead a bit of rip off place and I explain you why: you have the feeling to be in a family run low cost bar but then you get charge 6 EUR for a glass of average prosecco and 3 EUR for a bottle of Peroni and 1.5 EUR for the "coperto" which it's applicable for a restaurant and not a bar like this one. Then I didn't understand the price of the food: 5 EUR for a whole pizza Margherita which is very good price even if it is a small size but 4.5 EUR for a ham snack? Or was the rustico? If I had known this I would have gone to a trattoria instead.. Is this the reason why it's called"picciuli" (which means soldi in Sicilian)? You won't get any more picciuli from me. On a visit to this cute little town as we were walking through the streets, we decided to get something to eat real quick for lunch. Fortunate for us at town wasn’t very busy and we sat right on the street. We split a mushroom ham pizza and I had a wonderful Salad with buffalo mozzarella. Pessima esperienza. Tre panini tipo puccia ordinari e due acque minerali da 50 cl. Ma la sorpresa è il costo del coperto 1.50 euro a persona. Per bicchieri di plastica! Vergognatevi! . PS....nella zona in via De Pace fanno delle puccie straordinarie con minor spesa....e senza coperto. Ripeto pessima esperienza

20 agosto 2021 ore 16:00 circa Ho letto la risposta del proprietario, che fa finta di non capire , non contesto il costo della puccia, certo che ho letto il menù ed i costi delle pucce. Inoltre ritengo un mio diritto dire se è buona o meno. Invece il sig.
