First things first. The location is right on the lakefront and in Garda itself and is run as a family business. TUI class it as a two star and that’s about right. Be aware three is no air con or lift or pool . You get a room en suite and the safe is included in the price. It’s clean and towels are changed every day. You only get one sachet of body/hair wash and a tiny bar of soap for your stay. Again be advised due to its location there is quite a lot of outside noise a band playing until midnight and then people talking shouting and the rest until the early hours.|| You then get tradesmen deliveries, food trucks and businesses opening up quite early on . It’s not the hotels fault but it is a consequence of where it is.|| The food is ok at best. It’s not great but is served promptly by staff, if you are resident at the hotel you will be given a table at the back of the eating area . away from the lakeside. This area is reserved for the a la Carter diners. , || Mama who is the owner is lovely and is always there with a smile at breakfast time ||that is a buffet which is very nice. Fresh fruit. Hams and lovely cut bread. ||However her daughter seriously needs a course in customer relations. ||She huffs an puffs around with little patience or time for guests, that in our opinion is the big let down here and she needs to seriously improve her people skills||On our day if departure she took our room keys, turned around and carried on working||. ||No thanks. Have a safe journey home . Nothing Zilch!!!||Lake Garda is stunning and the lake area as well . please visit it but bear in mind what reviews say. Tui two star is about right . If mamas daughter was a bit more user friendly it...

The bedroom had sturdy traditional furniture and a really comfy bed. There is no air con(hence the 4 rating) but there is a huge ceiling fan, that was mostly adequate even though we were there during a heatwave. The bathroom was modern with shower and bidet. There was no balcony to our room but a table and chairs under the window gave a view of the lake.||The food was good and traditionally Italian, repeated weekly, but with enough choice. The food was really well presented( just like the restaurant food) and there was plenty of it.||There was no entertainment but there was no shortage of bands at other local bars. The hotel is ideally situated for local shops, ferries and buses.||The family and staff were fantastic and could not do enough for us, for which I must really thank them. When my husband had severe swelling in his foot Setefano (the son) contacted our rep with his concerns and was always looking out for him. Sonia (the daughter) organised a taxi to take us to hospital and look after us while we were there. She was really attentive and very friendly. Mama was mama. Always smart and working long days. And again always attentive.||If you don't want a large impersonal hotel and don't mind no pool, give this...
