Casa Fernandez — Restaurant in Garda

I had the pleasure of dining at Casa Fernandez in Garda, Italy and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance and friendly staff made me feel welcome and comfortable.

The highlight of my evening was the delicious paella - a traditional Spanish dish that Casa Fernandez does justice to. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the rice was cooked to perfection. Additionally, the Tortilla was another favorite of mine, which was savory and satisfying.

But the star of the show for me was the sangria - a refreshing and fruity drink that perfectly complemented my food. I loved how it was served in a traditional Spanish jug, adding to the authenticity of the experience.

Overall, Casa Fernandez in Garda, Italy definitely deserves a 5 star review. Delicious food, welcoming ambiance, and friendly staff - what more could you ask for? I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Spanish...

Attratte dall'idea di cenare spagnolo per una volta, siamo state una sera durante la nostra vacanza a Garda. La mia amica entra e chiede se c'è un tavolo per due. La cameriera la guarda e le risponde 'paella, sì'. chiaramente era straniera e non capiva né parlava italiano, però almeno sorrideva molto. Ci fanno accomodare a ridosso del bancone, in un tavolo che ballava (e che il ragazzo ci sisteemerà poi in un secondo momento). La tovaglia era decisamente sporca e viene coperta da un'altra quando ci portano bicchieri e posate. Il menù si presenta alquanto turistico, pieno di soliti piatti per nulla locali. Sinceramente credevamo che ci sarebbero stati esclusivamente piatti spagnoli e poco del resto, invece è il contrario. Leggiamo che la paella è su ordinazione, perciò la escludiamo. Ci ingolosisce la tortilla. Quando arriva il ragazzo (che presumo sia il padrone) chiediamo un consiglio. La paella ovviamente... Ma come, non era su ordinazione? Sì, ma si può avere lo stesso. La scartiamo perché sono allergica ai peperoni e per fortuna ho chiesto dato che nel menù gli ingredienti non sono segnalati. Bene, allora prendiamo la tortilla. Eh, ma quella sarebbe su ordinazione... (E dove stava scritto? Da nessuna parte ovviamente.) E comunque ci vuole una mezz'ora per averla. Okay, dopo un'attenta analisi alla fine ci orientiamo sul riso al nero di seppia. Non ho idea se sia effettivamente un piatto spagnolo, ma era l'unico che ci ispirava. Morale? Quaranta minuti per averlo. Tanto valeva la tortilla allora. Il riso era leggermente scotto ma nel complesso buono, e la porzione abbondante. A parte ciò, una cena estenuante in un locale che andrebbe rinnovato negli arredi e nei modi di fare di tutti quanti. Decisamente da...

Found this little gem on our walk around the side streets away from the marina. Prawns in oil and garlic and the mussels to die for. Friendly staff and have to say the owner couldn't have been more helpful. We ate here every day we came from Bardolino to Garda. If you don't like fish dishes then you can have burger and chips or pizza or sandwiches but next time we have to try the paella. Oh and a beer is good and reasonably cheap. Loved it here and we're going back as...
