Leider kann ich nur einen Stern vergeben. Das liegt zum größten Teil nicht am Essen. Meine Frau hatte sehr gute Gambas und gegrilltes Gemüse. Ich hatte mich für ein Rinderfilet entschieden. Mein Fleisch sah gut aus und war von den Röstaromen sehr lecker, aber die Konsistenz war miserabel. Man hatte zu viel Arbeit beim Kauen. Das war ganz sicher kein Rinderfilet und ich kann das beurteilen. Ich reklamierte das Fleisch und bekam ein neues Stück. Auch dieses war von gleich schlechter Qualität. Das kann passieren. Für 22,-€ - es sollten laut Karte 250g sein - sollte man Entsprechendes erwarten können. Aber wie man dann mit dem Gast umgeht, zeugt von sehr schlechter Gastfreundschaft. Wenn die Dame des Hauses, deren Sohn und ein Kellner beteuern, dass das Fleisch gestern aber gut gewesen sei und alle anderen Gäste auch nichts auszusetzen hatten, bedeutet das für mich, dass man in keiner Weise kritikfähig ist. Das zweite "Filet" wollte ein Kellner dann noch einmal nachbraten und nahm es mit, der Sohn des Hauses wollte mir stattdessen seinen Qualitätsanspruch als das Maß der Dinge verkaufen. So etwas findet man in schlechten Lokalen in Deutschland auch schon mal. Letztlich bekam ich kein Fleisch mehr und auch keine Info, dass ich nichts mehr bekomme. Dafür war aber alles berechnet. Ich forderte dann, da ich es ja bezahlen sollte, mein Stück Fleisch an, was man mir auch mitgab. In einem Stammrestaurant am Ufer ließ ich den Kellner dann mal probieren. Die Aussage hat mich nicht verwundert. Man habe "viel Arbeit" beim Essen. Fazit: Fischspeisen, wie in den Bewertungen zu lesen, sind hier sicher gut, Fleisch lässt man besser sein und Kritik: Die bringt nichts weil sie nicht angenommen wird. Das kann man getrost vergessen. Schade - es hätte ein schöner Abend sein können.

Purtroppo posso dare solo una stella. Per la maggior parte, questo non è dovuto al cibo. Mia moglie ha mangiato degli ottimi gamberi e delle verdure alla griglia. Io ho optato per un filetto di manzo. La mia carne aveva un bell'aspetto ed era molto saporita grazie ai sapori arrostiti, ma la consistenza era pessima. Era troppo faticoso da masticare. Non si trattava assolutamente di un filetto di manzo e questo lo posso giudicare. Ho protestato per la carne e ne ho preso un altro pezzo. Anche questo era della stessa scarsa qualità. Può succedere. Per 22,-€ - secondo il menu dovrebbe essere 250g - ci si dovrebbe aspettare qualcosa di simile. Ma il modo in cui trattano gli ospiti dimostra una pessima ospitalità. Quando la padrona di casa, suo figlio e un cameriere affermano che ieri la carne era buona e che tutti gli altri ospiti non avevano nulla di cui lamentarsi, per me significa che non sono assolutamente in grado di criticare. Il secondo "filetto" un cameriere ha poi voluto rifare la frittura e l'ha portato via, il figlio di casa voleva invece vendermi la sua pretesa di qualità come misura delle cose. Questo tipo di cose si trovano nei cattivi ristoranti in Germania. Alla fine, non ho ricevuto altra carne e non mi è stato comunicato che non ne avrei avuta altra. Ma tutto è stato addebitato. Visto che dovevo pagare, ho chiesto il mio pezzo di carne, che mi hanno dato. In un normale ristorante sulla costa, l'ho fatto assaggiare al cameriere. La dichiarazione non mi ha sorpreso. Avevano "molto lavoro" con il cibo. Conclusione: i piatti di pesce, come si può leggere nelle recensioni, sono sicuramente buoni qui, la carne è meglio lasciarla stare, e le critiche sono inutili perché non sono accettate. Nice atmosphere and nothing else. 6 people ordered food with all getting horrible, frozen packets type seafood. Unbelievable that in Italy we were served such bad pasta. We ordered linguine allo scoglio and instead they got spaghetti! The waiter/owner handing out dishes was all the time playing with Bruno the dog without washing his hands. When we were asked if everything is OK, I was honest and said no, explaining all the above. I asked for the bill and inside the restaurant I explained to the female owner. I was offered a limoncello which I declined. In summary there are more genuine restaurants in the area. Last but not least the tourism authority in Garda should investigate this restaurant as it is a shame to Italian food. In summary, avoid...

Went here last night with my wife and son (18 years old). We ordered 3 fillet steaks medium (25 euros apiece), and 3 lots of fries (another 5 euros apiece) along with drinks. 2 of the 3 steaks arrived in a reasonable time, my steak arrived 10 minutes behind everyone else. Obviously I told my wife and son to start without me, the guy offered to warm my cold fries up. All steaks weren’t of fillet quality (25 euros apiece) and every steak was well done or more even though we asked for medium (my son even left half of his as it was too chewy). I told the man there about all the issues and all we were offered was a shot of limoncello - which we declined. No discount or anything, no apology. What a waste...
