Absolutely wonderful place in the old town. Previously a butchers with some of the fixtures and fittings still in place. Run by a woman who makes her own cocktails- as far as we know no menu and she writes the tabs in a notebook. Under the bar are a series of rooms from medieval times. Think you pay a few euros to enter these areas. Much darker than our pictures suggest. We paid cash - not sure is that because she didn't take cards or that was her preference. Recommended.

Un locale d’altri tempi, un museo nel vero senso della parola con la cucina e stanze sottostanti perfettamente conservante risalenti a ‘600, una padrona squisita definitasi “foresta” ( una triestina trapiantata a Genova) musica sublime, jazz ovviamente, il tutto al lume di candela e un vino primitivo di Salento buonissimo. What else???❤️😘🙏Se siete di Genova o di passaggio è un luogo assolutamente da non perdere, con un fascino che ti rimane addosso e gran voglia di tornarci per passare una bella serata.

La signora che ci ha servito era davvero dolce, disponibile e adorabile, come la migliore della città. Mi sono sentito davvero ben accolto e trattato con cura. Consiglio vivamente questo posto a chiunque cerchi un'esperienza culinaria autentica e un servizio impeccabile!

Sono stato recentemente in questo ristorante e devo dire che è stata un'esperienza eccezionale. Il cibo era delizioso e ben presentato, e il personale era incredibilmente cordiale e premuroso. La signora che ci ha servito era davvero dolce, disponibile e adorabile, come la migliore della città. Mi sono sentito davvero ben accolto e trattato con cura. Consiglio vivamente questo posto a chiunque cerchi un'esperienza culinaria autentica e un servizio impeccabile!

Loved this gem of a bar, very friendly owner Daniela welcomed us in, which we found by accident on our way home as its so easy to get lost in the carrugi di Genoca. It is oh so atmospheric, smoky jazz music playing, candlelit bar, was a former charcuterie shop (13th centuty) turned into a bar, explored basement. Got a lovely ameretto sour cocktail there. Full of owners own art work. Definitely recommend a visit. We were only people there. Great little spot, you will be glad if you go...

Amazing bar to grab a cocktail and enjoy the intimate ambience. If you're nice you might even be allowed to explore the 13th century tunnels that were discovered below. Good prices for drinks, good history, good...
