Just finished dinner elsewhere and was looking for a dessert, coffee and a glass of wine. Stopped here as it is close to my hotel. Woman at the counter did not seat me but offered me the dessert and coffee to go. She Stated this is a pizza restaurant not a bar. Ouch! I understand the concept of her restaurant but her delivery was very discouraging. As an American visiting for the 1st time I felt embarrassed and uncomfortable. However I sucked it up and took my items to go minus the wine. I can tell this is not a normal thing as I was given the coffee in the equivalent of a plastic shot glass and a strip of foil paper covering it. She knocked me up for $7. I’ll be here for 3 more days and will NEVER take the 3 steps it takes from my hotel to return. Even the two employees looking on were puzzled. They stared at me the whole time and one was shaking his head at the woman as if to gesture...

Would liked to have had a solid option when attending one of the many Theatro Carlo Felice events we go to - but unfortunately this was not the place. The food is rather tepid - barely warm and the service seems designed to have one order more than one beer when you clearly wanted just one. The quick assumption that one would want tiramisu is also a bit off putting (admittedly I really don’t like that Italian classic - but never mind). It doesn’t help that you do have a fair bit of tourist traffic from the Best Western on the corner … but as Genova is also attractive to foreign residents, a bit more care in delivering a pleasant dining experience would have been appreciated. There is so much competition in this particular district - I doubt we’ll be back. The bathroom is a 4.5 however so keep...

While this restaurant is not wheelchair accessible, and has a step up into the restaurant, I quickly discovered that the Italians do not see this as such a barrier as the English to serving customers of limited mobility. I was lifted gently into the restaurant while in my wheelchair by 4 of the wait staff, the customer service was beyond excellent, the pizza was divine, and while I was not able to move from my seat and there was no accessible toilet I will give this restaurant 5 stars due to how endlessly accommodating they were withing the limitations of their building. The pizza was melt in your mouth amazing and the service very prompt. I highly recommend you visit if you find...

Lovely little pizzaria in a busy area of Genova. We stopped in on our first night in the city after the restaurant we were trying to find was closed down. How lucky we were! The staff are delightful, giving the place a warm and friendly atmosphere. It felt so welcoming! There was a vast choice of pizzas and we had a range, from white sauce four cheese to a parma ham option and one made with local pesto. All were delicious. There's a full bar for drinks options and lovely desserts including a range of different tiramisu - we had traditional and pistachio. Really recommend this place. Not many seats inside but worth the effort - or they do takeaway too!

Reasonably priced pizzas, pastas and Italian dishes within walking distance of the Best Western Metropoli. During our stay, we enjoyed their pizza, gnocchi, lasagna and beer selections. Their hours are quirky so one should check their Facebook page to see the posted, hours of operation. We gladly waited till 7pm to eat their pizza. It is a small neighborhood eating spot. Our waitress spoke English which was a plus. Everyone sits pretty close together so, if you don't mind, then this is a great dining option when visiting Genoa.

Small pizza restaurant in a lively part of Genoa. We were on our way to Via Garbaldi and decided to stop in for lunch. The pizza was delicious and the owner was incredibly friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed the Fresca pizza! The crust was very thin and the tomato sauce very flavorful. My tablemates tried the Margherita and Americana which they devoured as well. Margherita is similar to a cheese pizza in the states though, so if you’re looking for the states version, try the Bufala or Fresca.
