X Sushi — Restaurant in Genoa

This is far and away the best sushi place I've ever been to. I seek out sushi whenever I go somewhere, it's my favourite cuisine. When looking for somewhere to spend my last night in Genoa this place stuck out. The all you can eat deal sounded too good to be true but my god true it is! The method they use to take your order for the all you can eat deal is very easy. When you sit down there is a card on your table, you scan a QR code and read the menu on your phone. You write down the number of the dish you'd like and how many you want then the staff take the card and send out all your food gradually. COMUNICATO STAMPA OGGI RIAPRE IL RISTORANTE X-SUSHI Genova, 05.07.2024 – Siamo lieti di annunciare la riapertura del noto ristorante X-Sushi a Genova, che avrà luogo venerdì 5 luglio. Dopo un breve periodo di chiusura cautelativa imposto dall'ASL 3, il ristorante è pronto ad accogliere nuovamente i suoi clienti con rinnovato impegno verso la qualità e la sicurezza alimentare. Nei giorni scorsi, l'ASL 3 aveva ordinato la temporanea chiusura del ristorante X-Sushi in seguito a un episodio che ha coinvolto due clienti. Questi ultimi avevano riportato sintomi di mal di pancia e si erano rivolti alle cure dell'ospedale Galliera, supponendo una possibile correlazione con quanto avevano consumato presso il ristorante, che peraltro quella sera aveva servito circa 150 coperti. L'intervento dell'ASL 3 aveva portato alla rilevazione di riso bollito ancora caldo nelle cucine del ristorante, che avrebbe potuto contenere tracce di "Bacillus Cereus", un batterio comunemente rinvenibile in varie qualità di cereali. In via precauzionale, l'ASL aveva disposto quindi la chiusura temporanea del locale. I due pazienti sono stati dimessi dopo che è stata appurata l'assenza di tale bacillo all'interno dei loro apparati digerenti. Il malessere dei due soggetti non ha quindi alcuna correlazione con quanto dagli stessi mangiato presso X-Sushi, né le indagini ASL hanno portato all'individuazione di tale bacillo fra le derrate presenti nelle cucine del ristorante. Con l'occasione della forzata chiusura – che è risultata quindi assolutamente cautelativa – il ristorante ha rinnovato tutta la pavimentazione delle cucine ed ottimizzato i macchinari. Da questa sera, l'affezionata clientela può riprendere le proprie abitudini. "Siamo estremamente grati ai nostri clienti per la loro comprensione e supporto durante questo periodo", ha dichiarato Lili proprietaria del ristorante X-Sushi. "La sicurezza dei nostri clienti è la nostra priorità assoluta, e siamo impegnati a garantire che tutti i nostri standard siano rispettati al massimo livello." Really great sushi for a good price! We arrived a little too late to do the “all you can eat” menu, but felt that we got enough food at a very reasonable price compared to back home in the US. The only reason we didn’t leave 5-stars was because the service felt a little pushy. May have been due to the fact that we arrived within an hour of closing, but we immediately got the impression that we may not be served everything. Our waitress also gave us the impression that we didn’t order enough on our first round to make it worth our while, even though we were ordering a la carte.
