Should have read the reviews before heading to this convenient place next to our hotel for breakfast. Because that's all it is, convenient next to train station. Ordered 6 continental breakfasts and an extra fruit salad. We got orange juice from carton, low end plain yoghurt, airplane marmelade, bagged biscotte, filled croissant/brioche not up to standard, industrial bread for toast, only eggs and bacon were kinda fresh but then again it's the easiest thing you'd say but no, eggs we're overcooked and bacon was very very salty which means low end product in general... When trying to ask about croissant fillings, the guy (not Italian) could not be bothered as he had "other customers waiting" i.e. 2 people sitting on the terrasse... When serving, cappucino's were cold, we did not bother sending back. I was amazed that there were certificates hanging on the wall for following a cappuccino making and decorating class... Fruit salad had melon and mushy watermelon, miles from the picture on the menu. Near the end of breakfast (20min later), the same waiter would come and ask to pay (never had this before in my life!). So please do read the reviews beforehand, mine is for breakfast only but it surely does not want to make me come back and try the rest. Check my other reviews for finding a decent breakfast...
Read moreNo menu besides the faded board that is hidden behind tables and when you ask for a menu, the rude waitress will slam the giant board in front of you and gesture towards you as we watched her do to not only us but two other groups of people the come in after us. the bruschetta was low-end grocery store toast with sliced tomatoes thrown on top. tasted like a meal i would’ve have had to eat as a kid when there was little money to be spent. awful and nothing like bruschetta. we tried to pay and leave before our pizza that we ordered came out but the man at the counter yelled at me and told me that the pizza was already cooked and sliced and we need to sit back down. i told him i would pay for it all but would like to leave and he gave it to us in a to go box. when we got back to our apartment we opened the pizza and it was the worst pizza i could’ve ordered at a chain pizza restaurant in the US ran by teenagers. literally just some undercooked dough with sauce and random splotches of cheese. not good. aside from the awful service and even worse food, the atmosphere seems very inviting and cozy and that’s where the positives stop. worst food i’ve ever had in italy. everything is a 5-star restaurant in comparison. please for your own sake don’t...
Read moreI wish I read the reviews prior to eating here. We ordered the English breakfast for 7 Euros each. The pictures of the breakfast looked great on the advertisement board, but everything served was completely opposite of what we got. The orange juice came in a small, half filled cup and was packet juice. The Yoghurt, 'bread' and cutlery were served in their plastic packaging. How hard is it to pretend your produce is fresh and make it well presented? The breads advertised as a normal slice of bread with jam. However, these were tiny crouton breads still in packaging. The bacon and eggs were gross. The ONE rasher of bacon we got was soggy, not cooked properly and was just fat. The eggs were like rubber and very oily. Luckily the one slice of bread for the bacon and eggs was real. Also, free wifi hospot was advised in the cafe and when we asked the server for the password, she said they don't have wifi... Ok then. When we went to pay for the food, the lady at the cashier was rude and unfriendly. A suggestion to the manager of the company would be to read these comments and make a...
