Pizza Gourmet Ristorante Cocktail — Restaurant in La Spezia

Overall a good restaurant. We ordered a pizza and schnitzel, which both came very quick. Its nice to point out that you can personalize your pizza depending on what you like more. Here (in my picture) I ordered one pizza diavola with extra mozarella. It was freshly served and was overall good. The schnitzel was acceptable too, but the cook wasnt very familiar with making it by himself so he had to give us an deep frozen bought one. It was good but premade...

The service was alright. Unfortunatly we sat outside which resulted in being slightly neglected by the staff which was pretty often talking to each other inside. They offer a digital menu which is a nice idea to add to the classic physical menu but cant replace it completly. It has some kind of a mcdonalds touch which you dont want to have when you go to a normal restaurant.

A very positive point: the toilets were extremly clean

Last but not least: they charge a high "coperto" and seemed unhappy about not giving them an extra tip

We arrived at 6.30pm. It wasn’t really busy. Staff were standing around at the doorway mostly so clearly it was not busy. We ordered our meals and waited…and waited…..and waited. 5 other tables around us had walked in after us, had eaten and left. We followed up with the waitress who said, it’s all coming out now. 20 mins later we asked another waitress where our meals were? She sent the same waitress over to tell us they were coming out now and that they are a little busy. Not true. A couple who were then seated beside us, received their meal in under 10 minutes. Our meals finally came out after more than 1 hour. We went to pay inside and a waitress and the barman decided it was a good time to get into an argument and leave us waiting to pay the bill. This place is incredible! We sat outside and the vibes were immaculate. The servers were kind and quick. Even though it is a pizza place, we both ended up getting the pasta and I’m glad we did. I got the trofie al pesto which I absolutely loved and my husband got the carbonara. They were both 10/10. The drinks were also good, we got a Hugo spritz and a cosmopolitan. Getting the tiramisu was the perfect way to end our night! Definitely stop...
