Authentic, creative, and cozy Italian dining in La Spezia

We had a wonderful dinner at Vicolo Intherno. The atmosphere was intimate and charming, perfect for a relaxed evening. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and full of flavor.

To start, we tried the Parmesan and honey flan with caramelized onions and fondue, which was rich and delicate. The highlight for me was the meat ravioli with ragù—a comforting classic done just right, with a hearty and well-seasoned sauce. We also had the trofiette with pesto sauce, fresh and vibrant, topped with stracciatella for a creamy contrast.

For appetizers, we ordered what I believe was the Pasqualina with herbs and ricotta parmesan fondue—a unique combination with earthy mushrooms and crispy elements on the outside, paired with a velvety green fondue.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the menu offers something for everyone, from seafood lovers to vegetarians. Prices are reasonable given the quality, and the pasta is all handmade by the chef.

Definitely recommended if you’re in La Spezia and looking for something local, fresh,...

Very good restaurant. Some + and - on our visit on March 30th.

Excellent food! We ate fresh fish (awesome!) as Antipasti and Pasta as main dish. Both was perfect regarding quality and quantity clean restrooms with some wet hand-tissues extra appropriate price: we had to pay 33€ but they charged us only 30€. 40€ would have been fine as well for that food! nice decoration of the room, nice restaurant

we checked the opening hours before both on the door of the restaurant and the internet and it said it would open at 12:00. We arrived at 12:10 and the waitress/owner told us in a rude way to leave: "We open in 20 minutes ". So we had to wait until 12:30, that was pretty annoying and removes one star.

In total, 4 stars and definetely a very good Choice...

The glowing reviews for this place are not exaggerated. We've been travelling for a week and had some good meals, but this is by far the best. Friendly staff, interesting decor, cosy atmosphere, and amazingly good food. Came here for the vegetarian friendliness for my wife and shared the vegetable tart for appetiser - I didn't know vegetables could taste so good. For mains she had a pasta with a pumpkin sauce which was delicious when I tried a bit, and I had the Iberian pork, which was wonderful. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Avoid the tourist traps and come dine...

An Italian friend of ours suggested this place and we’re so happy she did. The menu’s are changing often (I’m assuming because the menu posted here on google is no longer the menu we got when we were there last week). They also have specials of the day which we went for. All of the dishes were flavorful, simple yet complex and fresh! Dishes came out really quick too and service was attentive. Overall I’m in love with the foods!! 4/5 for atmosphere we felt that the place might need some music, we sat in the alleyway area.
