What a place! Giuseppe has been the kindest host ever! I could not understand all as Lecce’s accent is new for me but I have rarely seen such a pure heart in one person! Giuseppe wants customer to enjoy life and leave his place full and happy. That’s his bear minimum. Look no further! Yes, really! Looking for the MOST delectable pucci in town? This pucceria has been in Giuseppe’s family for generations. He has such earned pride of his craft. We love Salento and spend a lot of time here, and truly, this is the best (I hesitate to call it a sandwich) creation we have ever eaten here. This is a great deli sandwich place where you can get an awesome fresh and tasty sandwich for not much money. You can get beer, wine and soda to drink as well. I ordered the spicy sandwich called La Leccese. It was absolutely delicious! As of this writing a 350ml bottle of red wine and a sandwich was only 12 euro. That’s a great deal! The owners are just a lovely couple. They are awesome and friendly people. I highly recommend it!...
